Nothing like a Monday morning panic attack![]()
I had to return a phone bc of a defect. When they were going through the exchange process the "unlimited data" feature was nowhere to be seen so I didn't go through with it and instead just retuned it. That line I return is still in my account after two days but it says eligible for upgrade. When does this come off my account?

If you get a defective device, you can only exchange for a replacement phone, not a new phone from what I have read. If you are trying to get a new phone, they basically refund the original purchase and do a repurchase in-store.I had to return a phone bc of a defect. So if the device is defective, your only option is to return for a refund and reorder online from what I have read.
The difference is that with a return and repurchase in-store, they don't see the Unlimited iPhone option so you can't do a repurchase in-store and get an UDP line. They don't just refund the phone purchase - they cancel the line and then re-add the line. At least that is the way I have interpreted what others have posted. But isn't there a difference in doing a full return or not ? Doesn't one affect the plan (do the whole purchase over!!!) and the other doesn't?![]()
I was only able to add 2 udp's. I'm not willing to call Verizon to ask why
What do you mean? Are you now blocked from adding a line? Did you get a notice from Verizon?I was only able to add 2 udp's. I'm not willing to call Verizon to ask why

If you have 5 lines on a single family share plan, that is the max.
yup, but then you are limited to 10 and for many of us, we actually use some of those lines to provide our families with phone serviceUntil you create a glorious subaccount![]()

Has anybody actually tried adding a line in the store and getting the unlimited option? Was just wondering, as these accounts are obviously improper feature codes from the website. Wonder if anybody has actually tried to place the order in store on their easy pay devices?
As do I BUT that is where my wife's account to name just one comes in handy of utilizing 9 more spots and the logic goes on from there with others in our family network of abusing Verizon

The first time when I had that problem and couldn't do the pick up the apple rep actually canceled my original order and proceeded to reorder it for me and was shown the udp option BUT a las it still didn't work. So it's in their system in store![]()
You are not abusing them you are helping them to get new contractsAs do I BUT that is where my wife's account to name just one comes in handy of utilizing 9 more spots and the logic goes on from there with others in our family network of abusing Verizon![]()
Then they should be able to do a return and repurchase in storeNo it didn't work for other reasons not because it wasn't a viable option normally.![]()

If doing an AOL avoid the graveyard shift I think V routes CS to the local asylum at night
Morning shift got er done !
I can confirm the same experience - night time AOL dept reps claim that you have to pick a new plan when you AOL and that you can only pick from existing plans and that if you want to keep UDP you have to file an inactive pricing request! If doing an AOL avoid the graveyard shift I think V routes CS to the local asylum at night

Morning reps laughed when I told them what the night rep said.
As far as I know you need the Any Mobile Talk and Text plan for that.
The cheapest Any Mobile Talk and Text family plan is $85/mo for 700 minutes, unlimited text and each line is another $10/mo plus their data plan if any. So for 2 UDP lines it is $165/mo.
I believe the plan code is 0711 and you cannot go below unlimited texts.
Every time I say it's enough it pulls me back in!
