Feel the exact same way! If Verizon wanted to close this, it would've been closed by now. If it's the same as the fortune 50 retail corporate I used to work at there are departments in corporate that have teams that would spot this. If they don't care then I don't mind taking advantage. :)

I would assume it will be closed once 4th quarter starts. Isn't that soon?

Is there a mobile to mobile feature on a plan vs the any mobile talk and text plan ???
Not that I know about. Mine is a plan and it prevents me from adding a line at apple.com.

Is the one that is a feature the one that can be removed and re added again but the latter can't be changed without changing the entire plan itself?
There is only the latter AFAIK. There is only an any mobile talk and text plan - you have to have unlimited texting for the entire plan and you get mobile to any mobile for $5 more than the regular talk and text plans.

So the talk part is $85/mo for $700 minutes and the unlimited texting is $30/mo. Then each phone pays the $10/mo line access fee and for their data plan if they are smartphone lines.

You can't cancel the unlimited texting and keep the free any mobile minutes as it is a talk and text plan only.

Wasn't there a poster that said he was able to remove mobile to mobile then order a new UDP line and re add it after?

If you get a defective device, you can only exchange for a replacement phone, not a new phone from what I have read. If you are trying to get a new phone, they basically refund the original purchase and do a repurchase in-store.

So if the device is defective, your only option is to return for a refund and reorder online from what I have read.

So I called Verizon to see when this line is supposed to drop. Apparently they didn't finish the process of closing the line after I returned the defective phone. I wonder what I should do about it. The unlimited line is still in my account with an available upgrade. Should I just call apple to get them to close the line or is there a way to take advantage of this. ;)

bb method, get the phone
sell phone
sell aol

what do you want to do with it? just do aol, as no contract, maybe better price?

But if he did how was he mistaken?

He didn't. He thought he saw the option to go back but when he checked again, he didn't see it. That is why I didn't do it - b/c there is no way to go back online you would have to file an inactive pricing request to get them to restore the plan.

All you can do it try is and see. If it were me, I would use the upgrade and see what happens. The only thing I am not clear about is whether or not you should put a 4G LTE phone on the line first.

LMAO. I jus think he should cancel it out and just order a new one. There is still honor among 'thieves'
It's definitely not stealing. He returned the first phone. So all he would be getting is one subsidized phone and an UDP line, which is what he ordered to begin with.

I just meant we are the 'thieves' as we are stealing potential customers from other carriers by giving them UDP lines with the GREATEST CARRIER IN THE WORLD ::insertsarcasm::

Yeah the device on that line now, which I returned, shows "This device is suspended" on my Verizon account. I don't have the SIM anymore though for the device I returned. Will I need to activate a new phone and SIM card on this line first before doing the SIM trick?

That was my point - idk. Is the device suspended or the line suspended?

Paper trail
so do you think that would create a problem with an AOL? If so then it is not worth doing it - just get the line off the account and add another line.

My problem is that there are no iPhone 's anywhere near me

Just get an 5s. It's a great device still ALOT BETTER THAN THAT GIGANTIC OUTDATED NEXUS SOMEONE WANTS BADLY

Says "This device is suspended". When I press on the line it says "service for this device is currently suspended". And there's a button right next to it saying Reconnect.

I also think you should take it back. Even if your able to upgrade, the only method would be the bestbuy method and then you take the risk of having a pending activation on a "legitimate" UDP line. Take it back and start over.

My relative received new UDP line Iphone 6 through apple.com. Verizon refused to let him activate UDP line so apple just unlocked the phone. So my relative wants to put this out of contract phone Iphone 6 on his existing UDP line with Iphone 4 (no SIM). I don't have Verizon so can he just switch devices on Verizon site and will he be able to see that UDP preserved while he is doing it? Thanks!

It works in store directly as well! Thanks cnotes!!

You did it or someone else?
