Other Apple.com /Apple Store app iPhone X/8/8 plus Pre-order and Dispatch thread

Apple.com didn’t come online for me until 3:05am for me. Ordered 2 T-Mobile iPhone X Space Grey 256gb with delivery on 11/10 - 11/17. Was in such a rush to order that I never checked if pickup was available for launch day. Anyways, I’ll be happy as long as it’s closer to 11/10 rather than 11/17.

I’m leaving both orders open for now. I have an AT&T order open with a nov 3 delivery and .com order open with a nov 17-24 th delivery date. Did that many people decide not to do carrier sites this year?

I have the same dates but for T-Mobile.

I Did just get a citizenz one loan acceptance email at least ,so stressful till I see the charge on cc ,and an out for delivery notice on next Friday

Stupid question and maybe I’m doing the tax wrong but I did the iUP program and ordered a 64gb Space Grey, my receipt shows the below. Was I charged for the 256gb? Or am I looking at this the wrong way.

I think you have to do what the instructions above say before clear.

Alarm didn’t go off. I FINALLY got my order placed after multiple (and I mean multiple) attempts. I guess I just ordered myself a Christmas present because it’s not delivering until mid-December.

Try again and again and again. It worked for me after more tries than I counted.

IUP includes AC+ - you're including that in your calculations, right?

Same here. Mine did it for about 5 minutes and I never got it to go through. I wound up just doing Verizon installment payments and was still able to get in store pickup on 11/3.

It shouldn't mess you up for the delivery, but you won't get your notifications. Did you have a type-o or what happened?

Nope you ordered the 64 GB version. $999 + $199 AC+ = amount financed $1198.

There will be a separate line for people who preordered for store pickup. But be sure to arrive before your check in window which is 10am, maybe 9:30

When I got in (around xx:05 AM), the delivery date was later than November 3. But I was able to pick in-store pickup for November 3 at 8 AM. So I guess I’m good! When will they charge my card? When I pick it up or when they ship it to the store?

Try calling customer service at Apple to change it. Don't try to change it yourself on the web page. Best not to risk messing your order up.

No. I’m able to preorder with no problem with att next on Apple store app.

Yeah I was having tons of issue where it said it couldn’t reach AT&T servers to just continued general error. So I was able to do it on apple.com but because it was too late I had to choose to pick up from my local Apple Store so hopefully they do have my phone on launch day

Apple could have already allocated stock to the carriers before pre-order.

Would also explain why Best Buy was still showing Nov 3rd long after the Apple store page had shifted.

Methinks there were "buckets" of allocation....not one pool as we've seen previously. (probably to create more buzz)

So we're 2 hours and 27 minutes past the pre order opening. I just went on my ATT account and signed up for a new ATT next account. Was able to get a silver 256 GB with November 3rd delivery. However I ordered through IUP on the Apple Store App at 3:10 AM EST the same phone and got delivery for Nov 17-24. Wtf?
[doublepost=1509096774][/doublepost]Here's my proof incase anyone wants to see it. Order placed almost 2.5 hours after launch in EST. I have a feeling Apple will ship their orders out earlier than advertised. I'm calling them tomorrow to see which order to keep LOL.
