Finally got my order email. It looks like I was 'late' with doing the initial order because my phone won't be coming for 2-3 weeks, which is really 3-4 weeks since they don't count next week as week 1 apparently

By the time I got the email and clicked through, it said I already had an order and could only replace one phone on that line. There is an order number showing up on the apple site, so I guess I'm good. No delivery until December though. Trying to look on the bright side - at least I'll see case reviews so I can do that while waiting.

Sorry if this has been asked before... first time ordering the Verizon iPhone, do they let you hold for UPS pickup? I’ve done it many times with my previous orders, just wanted to make sure VZ didn’t have some policy in place. I did order through Apple, I just know that anything ordered through Verizon has strict shipping guidelines.

Was there a discount offered on accessories/cases when preordering? I thought for some reason I saw something about it but I was trying to go so fast to get my order in I didn't have time to really pay attention.

Still ended up with Nov 17 - Nov 24 date

I placed an order at about 809am with a delivery date set to between - 17 - 24th of November. The order status still says processing and my account has yet to be deducted. Should I be worried ?

It will not be deducted until your phone get shipped.

Don't think so... Mine is the same. I believe it will only change to "Preparing for shipment" like on 10th nov.

IIRC, Apple usually requires at least one delivery attempt before they allow for pickup. It's totally up to the shipper, I don't believe Verizon would have any influence on Apple's policies.

So this is the first time I'm being delivered an iphone at my new apartment. Typically packages are signed for by front office. This shouldn't be an exception right or do iphones go through extra security measures?

I have a question. I'm trying to complete my order, but I'm getting stuck on the credit card thing. I have a Visa/Debit from Well's Fargo. I didn't think it would be a big deal because that's what I have connected to Apple Pay and I thought I'd seen other people using them. But it's not letting me through. Am I screwed? Do I just need to call? Is there any way around this?

If it ships Fedex, use the Fedex online system and route your package to a local Fedex location. You can do it as soon as you get the tracking info. Works so much better than UPS.

After opening and closing the Apple App 500 times. I ordered my phone around 3:06 AM EST, got Nov. 3 delivery via Apple App (had IUP pre-approval completed).

Also, for those who need to exchange the old IUP phone, is there an option somewhere to have Apple mail us the box to return the phone? There were no instructions on how to do the mailing exchange.

call your credit card holder and see if they are blocking the transaction.

Has anyone order from Apple in past and had shipping date move up, and get phone sooner that first stated? I have always ordered thru At&T and hate their order tracking so decided to go thru Apple directly, ordered a silver 256 and a silver 64 @3:05est and both have 11/17-11/24 dates

Kinda had the same question. Want to make sure the order went through and my provider didn’t think the $0.00 was fraudulent on my card.

They charge when they ship, so that is normal.

Yeah, I was able to see my Order Status moments after pre-ordering.

After app took my order, all evidence I’d placed an order vanished. Nothing in email, in app, on website, etc. I hadn’t even noted the delivery date, and nearly placed a second order thinking the first had gotten botched. Showed up after 30 minutes.

I ordered a Verizon iPhone 7 plus trough Apple last year. If you sign up for My Ups through their website it allows you to ask for a different delivery date always after initial launch day. You can also depending on where you live change to pick up at an UPS location day of delivery with times varying depending on your UPS hub.
