Anyone able to get into apple chat to change delivery address? Its being sent to my att billing address and I wanted to change it. Is that possible??

Same for me, Im not aware you can change it. If you order from ATT they let you change it, but ordering through Apple Store it seems locked. I haven't tried contacting support through to try to get it changed.
 
Is the reservation number a thing that we should be waiting on? I just have my Check-in window and order number. I just figured that was all I would need

Edit: Oh sorry, would that just be for the IUP customers?
No. I got a reservation number to complete my order later since the couldn't contact the carrier.
I went back through the process and was able to get contact with the carrier and get an order for pick up.

Does any one know if this common for t-mobile orders? Was it like this last year? This is my first time ordering from apple.com. In the past I have ordered directly from t-mobile.
I told my friend the same thing, what I remember last year (working at launch) is that T-Mobile is just handled differently. I don’t know the ship dates but I do know that in store, T-Mobile is different for activation and upgrade, so I actually prefer to stick with my Verizon and then switch to T-Mobile later. Not sure what I’m going to do for the next upgrade then... :oops:

I tried calling but it wouldn't let me through. I know in the past I changed the address when UPS was shipping it. But its such a shorter waiting time this year that I don't know if that will be possible.
 
I don't remember anything like this happening before. I suspect that they will bump up the delivery dates since the phone is essentially the same as the AT&T model and there's no obvious reason why they should be delayed.

T-Mobile does seem to have gotten quite a few phones allocated from Apple, so maybe they didn't have a supply ready for launch day. Who knows.
Yea, its interesting. I have a 11/10-17 TMo delivery. When will Apple just sell 1 phone from them and the let the carriers deal with all the other BS?

If you received an email that you iphone is "Reserved" and if you haven't received your second email, keep checking the status. Mine just switched from "hold" to "Place order" - and I was able to go thru and fully place the order. I received order confirmation.

I ordered ATT SG through Apple and received processing email at 3:06 am but no charge on my card. But after 45 minuets I received a notification from my Bank of pending charges. I think you will see your charges soon.

I couldn't get on my app at 1401, I got into my app on my ipad, but it didn't have my approval for IUP. My laptop said to go to my iPhone app, which was still not up for me. Finally it showed up and I was able to process my order, but I got a 11/11-14 date. My daughter also did her's on the app, but got the bigger size and the same date as I. Then this morning she went to the AT&T app just before 6am and was able to get the silver 64g with a ship date of 11/3. WTH!

I just got off with Apple Chat Support....They gave me an exception since my family is in Washington and I'm in California...got my shipping address changed to my work while keeping my nov. 3rd delivery date!
 
I have access to 6 stores and when I tried to place an order for 64GB, only space grey was available for pickup and the rest shipped within 1-2 mins.
so went with store pickup.

I placed an order at about 809am with a delivery date set to between - 17 - 24th of November. The order status still says processing and my account has yet to be deducted. Should I be worried ?
 
I was going for a SG 256 on AT&T I had may laptop, iPhone and iPad all open to the Apple Store app. As 2am CT hit, the apple store app was still closed for orders. The Apple web site was open and I was able to proceed with my order. Then when I go to login with my iTunes account, I received the message that m iTunes account was locked. I attempted to unlock the account but continued waiting for the confirmation that my account was unlocked. I gave up and started over to order my iPhone as a guest order. I was finally able to get to the place order screen and was surprised to see that Apple ins store pick up was available at 9am so I took that option. Then after the order was completed, I noted that my email address was spelled wrong on the order. I have a custom email domain so I was able to add the misspelled email address so that I would get email confirmations.

This morning, I was able to add this order to my iTunes account once the order went into processing.

Overall, feel pretty lucky to have release day pick up for this phone. Ironically, this is the first year I have had the option to select in store pick up.

Have it held up at UPS CC or FedEx hub and pick up from there once you have tracking id.
 
It's shipping to the billing address on file for ATT which is my brother-in-law in washington

Oh I see. I purchased the phone outright with Verizon service and was able to change it. Must be an AT&T thing because my sister just informed me that she cannot change her address
 
This was definitely the case. Sounds like people not going through the IUP were able to try different options like buying through the carriers or starting an order fresh at pre-order time. The IUP folks who pre-qualified were especially screwed cuz we were locked out until the pre-qualification came up in the app... which for me took about 20+ minutes.
Man. I’m really sorry to hear that. Really unfair that, not only was this the main option for you all, but you all had to wait for the store to come up.

Good news guys!

I didn't wait the email, just went to the website mentioned in the page to check, and I was ready to proceed.

Turned out the SSN I should enter is incorrect, so I had to re-enter my billing zip and SSN.

Finally, it worked with a guaranteed delivery of Nov. 3rd, I got the place 12 minutes after the hour.

This is for a full payment Att 64 gb silver.

I think most notably, even if I entered my info incorrectly they let me go to their website, damn good news!

Also if you haven't heard anything yet, it's not the end of the world, they gave me Nov. 3rd!

I was able to change the shipping address before by calling Apple Support and didn’t push back the delivery date.
