In my case I received no email. It just changed to Nov 3rd on the order page.

My in store pick up at Apple is for the 64GB space grey (T-Mobile) Nov. 3rd schedule checkin window is 3:00-3:30 and my delivery to the house is the silver 256 GB November 10th-17th. Now the delivery also says November 3rd

I am not adding a line, I used the cell phone number of my friend who is not upgrading and still needs their current number on their current phone. I used his specific line just to get the device. Thats what I'm worried about. Ill deal with the SIM swap part and if anything return the phone if ultimately i can't, but it did say an unlocked iPhone when i checked out.

OHHHHHH...yea that upgrade is gone for that number. If they want to upgrade their current phone they will have to pay full price like you did for the phone. It won't effect the other numbers on the account just the number you are using to buy the phone. Activating the new phone will more than likely deactivate their current phone...UNLESS it's really unlocked phone and won't be associated with Sprint. My guess is just as good as yours in that department

When I preordered last night (ATT Space Gray iPhone X 256GIG) I literally got the confirmation email before the Apple Pay was completely finished. 3:06am EST.

The status is now: Order in progress and the delivery schedule is 20 - 27 November...

Maybe but most Sprint upgrades are in terms of every 2 years not if you pay the phone off. But I'm not familiar with their lease program so it could work. I would get someone on the phone or chat from Sprint to be sure

Welcome to the club! This is not a glitch. Apple has been known to overestimate their initial delivery windows. Go ahead and read the last few pages of this thread you'll find that you're not alone
