I can't recall the time, if any, that I got a release day iPhone so I was pleasantly surprised.

Hey, that's possible. I've seen shipping dates move up before.

Wasn't able to get my order to go through this morning, so Apple reserved one until the AT&T network could be reached.

Finally was able to complete the order at 2:54 p.m. EST today. Now I have an order with AT&T and Apple both with 11/3 delivery. Just have to decide which one to cancel. Probably AT&T.

Ordered via Apple App. My initial order (12:06am) for my 256GB silver (GSM) said Nov 10-14 but logging in it now says "Order in progress - Delivers Nov 3" Crossing my fingers too. I haven't seen the "preparing for shipment" change yet.
 
Preparing for shipment!! 256 GB silver Verizon...started my order around 12:02 when the app came up but didn't complete my order until 12:06 because I had to fill out tons of information to sign up for IUP for the first time.
 
Just waiting for my order to switch to preparing. I assume like last year we won't get a tracking number until 11/2, but can probably search by reference on UPS.
 
I ordered the Mophie Witeless charging base with my phone and Apple slated it for delivery Wednesday but FedEx just alerted me it will be delivered tomorrow. Truth is I totally didn’t mean to order it. I was just using it in my bag to test out the process of using a saved favorite and Apple Pay before prelaunch and forgot it in the bag. Didn’t want to take the time to remove it and have those precious seconds it would have taken to cost me a launch day phone.

Actually there’s more chance of something going wrong if it comes from China than if it’s already here. There are exceptions, but most people get their device when Apple says on the confirmation.
 
Arghhh, why isn’t mine going into preparing for shipping! So anxious haha.

Ordered using the Apple Store App, IUP, Verizon, 256gb Silver.

Sorry that’s what I meant. Last year there was some storm in Korea or Hong Kong that delayed my watch...
