Did you order directly from Sprint? How did you without a sprint account?
I signed up for free for first year account with sprint , so I used that account option. But only question is, Is sprint version comes fully unlocked or not.

I ordered from apple

Ordered 2 different preapproved ATT apple IUP upgrades, each by 3:15am est (app wasn't up until then) Space Grey 64 and 256 with 2-3 week shipping. But didn't get confirmation email until 4:54. Still says 'order in progress'.

Did a 3rd new IUP but ATT upgrade that is 'reserved'. It couldn't reach carrier at time of order. No updates on that. i just went to the only email I had on the reserved phone, and it wanted additional carrier info which I just completed and now it’s also ‘order in progress’. Glad I checked as I don’t see any other correspondence and the reservation deadline was 10/28 12 pm?(not sure what time zone). This one is Silver 64 2-3 weeks.

The IUP orders from the app were very fast once the site was up. I may pay off my old phones rather than ship back, but glad they were IUP to do the order.

Hi, Planning to do SIM Swap. Based on Apple website, Sprint Full price option is Unlocked iPhone X with Sprint SIM. See below picture

Oh okay, same. Other don't seem to think it's completely unlock or that you can just do a SIM swap. Here's my pickle:
Okay here is my situation, hoping someone could clarify/help me out. I have Verizon so thats first things first. However I used my friends' Sprint account to order an iPhone X through Apple's website obviously. I paid full price for the phone and I can pick it up Nov 3rd. But the way Apple worded the terms as far as the Sprint side of things is confusing me/worrying me. Everyone on my friends' sprint account is still currently leasing their phones and are not due for any upgrades. My goal was to change nothing on their account or hinder their opportunity to upgrade or their eligibility to upgrade when they decide to. Basically i was just intending to use their account to get the device outright and swap my SIM in from my iPhone 6 plus on my Verizon account. I saw that there would be a $30 Upgrade fee and I don't mind paying that cause sprint now wants that upfront whether you ever activate the phone or not. But that word "Upgrade" scares me like I just upgraded the line and now only that line can use that iPhone x or i HAVE to activate it on that line. I can cancel the order right now before anything is final, but i just want to be able to bring the phone immediately to verizon and not change a lick of anything on their account/upgrade eligibility/additional charges, none of that. Pls help lol.
again I'm using my friends line not adding a new one.

For all of those who are asking about in store pick orders moving to PFS or shipped, they typically don't show any changes until late the night before the pick up date. At that point, they will change to ready for pickup. I just did it for the 8 Plus.
Thanks for the heads up but damn that sucks. I was hoping to track it with everyone else :/

Question for you guys - has anyone ever purchased an AT&T iPhone in-full via Apple’s Store, but upon receiving it, taken it back to Apple to re-purchase it using AT&T Next?

I’ve heard about people “returning” their phones at Apple Stores, and re-purchasing the exact same phone using Apple’s Upgrade Program. I’m looking to do something similar, albeit with Next instead.

Thanks!

You can see in theView attachment 728274 chart how quickly wait times slipped.

For the top three carriers in the United States – Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile – all units available for launch day were sold out in just 13 minutes. Sprint’s launch day inventory disappeared soon after.

Just one hour after preorders began, all iPhone X buyers were quoted 4-5 week wait times. And by 8 a.m. ET, that slipped to 5-6 weeks across the board.

Apple is promising that some iPhone X units will be available for walk-in buyers on launch day next Friday, Nov. 3. But especially judging by this chart, those probably won’t last for very long.
The T-Mobile availability on this chart is wrong. At least from the dozens of folks that have posted on this thread. Most of us ended up getting moved to nov 3 but were originally told nov 10-17 not launch date deliveries. I ordered at :03...

Sadly, my Apple store T-Mobile order (email confirmation at :10 past the hour) was scheduled for 11/17-24 and remains 11/17-24 at this point...
