Mine has also gotten bumped up from 'Shipping 11/10-11/17' to 'Delivers 11/03'. 256GB SG on T-Mobile and Apple IUP with an :04 confirmation email. Still sitting in 'Order is Processing', but eagerly awaiting the move to 'Preparing to Ship'. Nice work, Apple.

Nov 17-24 on a 12:10am order. I remember last year AT&T/Verizon opened early as well, but then a lot of people got screwed on actual delivery. I've always trusted the Apple Store or website for preorders, and realistically, I'll get it before Nov 17th (I hope).

Just annoyed w/the whole IUP program when they postpone the phone release, so now I've made 2 extra payments on a phone I'm trading in, and then am paying for a phone that's now a few weeks out from launch again. Now next year ift they release in Sept, I make another 1-2 extra payments to "be eligible".

Smart me would just keep my 7+ :) But I signed up for IUP so I could get a new phone annually and not deal w/Craigslist on the old one. Not turning out to be as fiscally sound, haha.

Unfortunately I'm inclined to agree with you about the IUP. I'm not seeing much benefit to being locked in, for the second year in a row. I had hoped it would provide an edge at pre-order time provided I was ready at 12:01, but I wasn't able to access the store via the App until 12:10 and my 256 GB Silver X ship date is 11/17-24/17. Not terrible, but somewhat disappointing.

Did you not see the mess att had last night? There’s a story about it on the homepage. You never know what website or carrier will be better that year... it didn’t let me on until :03. But I was constantly stopping app from multitasking and reopening it... did it dozens of times until it finally opened up and everything was there saved from the pre authorization.

I have never been this frustrated over trying to order something before. Especially considering I’m seeing people getting preparing to ship notifications already.

Guess I stayed up late for nothing. Unbelievable.

I did. Order placed on 12:04pm with the Apple store app, on Att Next Every year. Received email confirmation right away for delivery on 11/3. I was using the phone that I’m upgrading to preorder though so all my att info is saved (zip, ssn etc.). Not sure if it matters though. I had no problems placing the order. 256 SG.

Same, but Apple hasn’t sent me an email, nothing. All I have is a reservation number which apparently means nothing. Apple support has been useless.
 
I purchased a 256gb Silver iPhone X at 12:03 PST, Apple Store App opened for me at 12:02. My order moved to preparing to ship today and my credit card was charged sometime today.

Had a Nov 3 date at time of purchase.

I had both the website and app up and kept reloading the website and force closing the app to refresh.

That sucks. I didn’t get a reservation number, just the confirmation and order number. Guess I got lucky and didn’t run into the att mess. It’s now preparing to ship.
 
Mine has not been. Although, my order just recently got moved to 11/3 from 11/10-11/17, so maybe that's why. Credit card still has not been charged yet either.

Ditto for me - moved to 11/3 and still Order in Progress.

The T-Mobile availability on this chart is wrong. At least from the dozens of folks that have posted on this thread. Most of us ended up getting moved to nov 3 but were originally told nov 10-17 not launch date deliveries. I ordered at :03...

Same here. T-Mobile, ordered at :04 and originally had Nov 10 - 17. It moved to 11/3 after.

I ordered through the AT&T next program on the Apple Store app and completed my transaction with in a minute. Have no problem whatsoever and I got a 256 gig space gray for ATT. I have saved the phone in my favorites and use Apple Pay to pay for it and it went very quickly

I don’t get it, I just got a reservation #, no follow up email, and essentially a middle finger from Apple. Been an Apple customer for 20 years, never run into this before.

Been doing it since 3G. Have gotten every phone, every year. Same threads, same questions, same rants, so on. Just the lay of the land. As I get older, the less I care if I get it launch day or not. My current phone isn't just going to stop working. There are other things in life for me to deal with. :)

Received a text from my credit card company - card just been charged for the full amount.
Order status still “in progress” should move to PFS any minute now! :)

I was just charged for the one that is being shipped to my house (Silver 256GB).. and I guess the one I have to pick up at the Apple store on November 3rd will get charged closer to that day (Space Grey 64GB)
