I think I'll go with Apple.com

Mein acha hoon bhai. Good to know you know Hindi haha!

I’m sorry...but I just couldn’t resist :p:)

Status update on the "missing/stolen" iPhone.

Just got off Apple Chat (again; I'm making myself a pest:p). Rep said that I should hear from them via email by tomorrow night (possibly today) with more information, and that after they confirm with UPS that the package is missing a replacement would be sent overnight via FedEx (thank god, I know, I know, not all UPS...it's just UPS in my area is so ghetto and crappy). So fingers crossed I'll have my iPhone 8+ by Friday (hopefully sooner! weeeeee).

PS. I am proud of myself for not having cussed out anyone...yet..;)

Does anyone know - when in the App Store, after you select the desired model it asks if you want to “replace this phone” vs “buy a new one on an existing account.”

Does anyone know what real difference there is between the two different options?

The iPhone 8 plus is priced at $799 for 64 gb variant jn the US,just wanted to confirm is there any tax on it or it’s including all the taxes.

Mines in the same place, delivery for tomorrow! I’m about 60 miles from it

The more I think about it, the more I believe it will arrive tomorrow. In my case it has to make it up the hill (15) so it most likely won't be delivered today (I'm in Victorville/Apple Valley). /Wave to you - a CA local :) I drive by Lancaster a lot on my way to family in Northridge (pearblossom to 14).

So, planning on a "Last day with my 6s+" - will spend some time taking photos, doing some writing on it (with a bluetooth keyboard) to say goodbye. :)

There will be sales taxes assessed on it. My 8+ taxes were like $60-70. Yours may vary depending on location.

Mine still says it will be delivered today but FedEx still doesn't show it as "Out for Delivery" yet. That's weird as hell.

Yeah absolutely 0 movement on my fedex tracking info all morning. lol. I know I'm being impatient but it's only 28 miles away!

It's making me crazy. I could totally just hold it for pickup and go get it, but I'm afraid it's actually already been loaded and that will delay it until tomorrow. Then if I don't hold it for pickup I'm afraid it actually didn't go out today and I'll be waiting until tomorrow, lol.

What is your delivery date on FedEx?

My delivery date is 9/26 (tomorrow) by end of day via Fed Ex Ground. It's frigging 28 miles away... so I was hoping to get it today because when I order from Amazon, it comes from the SAME place the same day if it is Fed Ex or UPS. So I know it could have been here today and still might, but Fed Ex tracking shows it still hasn't even gotten the phone yet from what I can tell. I'm just hoping Apple is lazily tracking these things and it's not like an Amazon package (where everything is tracked to the second). But either way, yeah, tomorrow.

Mine says today but hasn't moved as of noon CST. I don't know what to think.

I'm very confused between iPhone X Intel Vs Qualcomm

I checked the specs of both the modems and Qualcomm has download speed of 1GBPS while Intel has 600MBPS.

Also Qualcomm has HD & Ultra HD (EVS). I want Sim-Free but I need the shipment before Mid-December. Either I can Pre-Order from T-Mobile or I can wait for Sim-Free.

Third option is to know someone who has Verizon Account. But when paid full price online, does it need activation? or it's like T-Mobile, where you don't need any activation.

Here are the specs of both the Modems

Snapdragon X16 LTE Modem

Intel XMM 7480

Usually T-MO is the same SIM-FREE... the only differences between each model is that one comes with a blank sim card from T-Mobile to register it on the network and the other comes with no sim from any company.

i think you can order the T-MO in preorder to get the X in the right time.
