Just order your phone configurations ,choose your carrier and you will be asked the plan you want to pay under.

It would be AT&T's billing address. The message that comes up says that it is carrier policy to ship only to the billing address of the carrier.
 
Luckily my kids will keep me busy to help me pass time. I’m already picking the oldest up from school and ordering out tonight and the best part is her school is closed tomorrow so I don’t have to be up early after preorder.

Notcho notcho man... I'm gonna be a notcho man! Just excited for the pre-sale iPhone X this evening at midnight while waiting in line to buy Super Mario Odyssey, and hopefully watching some Stranger Things 2. Then waking up early Saturday morning for the SD Comic-Con presale tickets. What a fun-filled weekend this is going to be.

I traded my 6+ last year for the 7+ preorder in store pickup I did. They processed the trade in first - gave me a gift card then used it when I paid for the 7+ (keep in mind I paid full price FYI) pretty pretty pretty easy however they might not give you as much for your old iPhone as our sources would

So why is there no "Buy without a carrier" "SIM-free" option for the iPhone X as there is with the iPhone 8? I'm a T-Mobile customer now, but want to get the phone that has the CDMA modem so that I can switch to Sprint or Verizon if I choose to do so, but it doesn't look like that will be possible unless I actually have a Sprint or Verizon account right now. Any advice?

Learn from my mistake, just stay with tmobile. Verizon charges $30 upgrade fee even if u buy the phone from Apple directly because you need to input your phone number during the ordering process. I don't think u need to do that with tmobile. CDMA unlock is not worth the extra fees from switching to Verizon, not to mention the hidden monthly line access fee for each smartphone line.
 
I'm thinking to go for iPhone X Space Grey as everybody is buying Silver. I liked Silver too but both are good enough and I need the iPhone before December so I might have to pay the price for getting it early by buying Space Grey. Just 11 hours to go and so much is running on my mind lol

I thought that Space Gray was the more popular one in all the polls
 
I just took a look. Seems there was a bug in Verizon's system - it was allowing people to pre-order. They closed the hole pretty quick. Now, will they honour those orders or have a pile of customers to call now? :)

Will get cancelled 100% sure as its not fair to others to let some people in because of some bug before the pre orders even officially start.

It was a glitch on their app...there are people that ordered with confirmations but it was patched pretty quickly.

No, a select few did pre-order based on a Verizon app glitch. There are screen shots and everything. They closed the loophole pretty quickly though.
