Are you sure you want to go to pre-order out? Make sure to pick up in store! Or get it on the day it comes out.

I still want to know why our shipping is slower and went through Hong Kong and the ones who got theirs last week didn’t.
I would advise to do both, the last thing you want to happen is the morning of they don't have the color/size in stock.

Wondering if this is a new route for non launch day phones? mine didn’t go to HK but straight from ZhengZhou to AK.
Unfortunately the only Apple store even close to me is in a mall that opens at 11 in the afternoon. I’m not sure how preorder pickup works there.
Even if I go on the Apple app now, it’s not showing an option to pick up at that location
YES! Let’s just hope this Foxconn business with Apple doesn’t impact our 12PMs shipping next month. I’m trying to stay positive by reassuring myself that there is no way Foxconn would further tensions while trying to negotiate a better deal 🤞
I would if could afford it, but potentially having another $1200 charge on my card is a little more than I can afford.

It should.....looks like yours is in ANC or very close. A UPS flight just landed in ANC from HKG about 30 mins ago and another one lands in 5 mins. It's possible they put the paperwork in just before the flight lands so it gets cleared quickly and on to the next destination.
Well, I think a family member experienced it already with her iPhone 12 Pro this week, she received her phone and when she powered it on, it would not pass the Apple logo, it would just repeat the cycle of coming on and disappearing, she then called Apple they did all trouble steps and also restore it, and everything failed, finally the tech told her that it was determined it was a hardware issue and she returned it. So I hope Foxconn is not rushing things and making things without final inspections to cut corners.
Mine is on the same flight, shipped to my home in Northern CA. It appears to be on a Cathay Pacific Cargo 747... CPA2096 to Anchorage, then on to Louisville, (you can search for it on FlightRadar24). Looks like UPS chartered a Cathay flight to help with demand. The scheduled departure times match the 11:55 pm scan time, and why else would Cathay Cargo go on the exact UPS route to Anchorage then Louisville if it wasn't working for UPS? It shows a 5:01 pm arrival time in Anchorage, local time. Then a 6:30 pm departure arriving in Louisville at 4:35 am.
