I think the largest iPhone is usually the “least“ popular. I think the 7 & 7 Plus was close due to Portrait mode being exclusive to the Plus model. Anyway, I am not surprised that the 12 Pro Max availability is decent. I think Apples cheapest, non-pro, “flagship” model will always be the best seller.

It has to do with the servers. I checked on my iPad it showed up. Also, checked on the browser and it was there. Just not showing up on an iPhone. It’ll show up later today.

Oh ok. Mine isn’t showing up on my iPhone or iPad. But I got the email so hopefully it went through..lol

The store near me ran out of stock for iPhone 12 Pro Max - Any idea when they update the Store pick-up inventory on website? I keep checking and it shows not available in 12 nearest stores - I prefer store pick-up only

Based on previous experience, does anyone know if UPS delivers these orders before or after 5 PM? Asking cause my orders set to deliver on 13th, but I’m catching a flight and leave my place at 5 PM

I’d say request a hold for pick up at a UPS CC if you are tight on time, I’ve seen iPhone launch day deliveries happen well until 9PM in the night.

Ordered the 12 Pro Max in silver about 20 seconds after the Apple store app opened, delivery Friday 11/13. I usually get black or space gray, last year midnight green, but last year the silver was so beautiful that I decided to try that this year. Not a fan of blue. Now comes the fun part of tracking our phones from China to Alaska to home. Also ordered the clear MagSafe case using a couple of gift cards. Btw, if you have Barclay gift cards with codes starting with Y you can’t add them to Wallet or use them in the App Store or Apple store app or the iTunes Store. You have to enter the codes during checkout at Apple.com. I figured this out while waiting for almost an hour on the phone with clueless Apple reps.

I think its at random. I got my Apple Watch Series 6 at 7 am for same day pick up on launch day. My iPad Air 4 was randomly available for like 2 seconds on a Tuesday at 3:30 pm as I was looking at cases the other week

I did. It finally opened at 8:10am but then I received an error message to contact Apple so I finished it on the website by 8:11am. I’m a little worried because my card isn’t showing a pending charge to make sure I have the funds. Do it typically show up and then fall off and show again when it’s preparing for shipping? I did get a confirmation email.

I think right now they are just taking orders, but later this afternoon we should start seeing charges. This happened to me for the 12 Pro as well.

When you see the time that your flight leaves China (make sure that the UPS or FedEx info is showing it per China time, or do the math), and you can usually narrow it down.

Pro Max ordered this morning in blue with no issues. Was worried I’d get locked out or something because of the color.

My case arrived a week ago and I put my XsMax in it to see the size difference.

Yes...definitely bigger...but hot crazy big compared to what I have. Looking forward to getting it next Friday!!

Ordered the mini as well for my son, but switched over to the AT&T site for that as apple.com wouldn’t let me designate his number when ordering.

Store refreshed right at 8am for me (first time that ever happened). Preorder was complete within 20 seconds. Confirmation email arrived right at 8am. Easiest preorder ever. Used the  card to do the get ready for pre order thing. Don’t think I really needed to, but the no interest helps. Now I can wait to sell my 11pm and then pay it off when I get the money from the 11pm. Easiest preorder ever. Way easier than the iPhone 4 for those who remember that fiasco.

Same for me, the App Store opened about 20 seconds after the hour and I had the confirmation email immediately after so first time I get an order at :00!!! The iPhone 6 launch was pretty gnarly as well!!!

If you ordered 3 they'll send you 3...

You can actually cancel them. They usually have a small window where you have to option to cancel orders. I saw that on the 12 Pro when I pre-ordered and I made a mistake on ordering Graphite and was able to cancel the pre-order before it went to PFS.

my mom just told me she wants to upgrade now. i told her before i made the last payment on her 8 Plus last year make a decision to either keep the 8 Plus or upgrade to the 11PM. she decided to keep the phone. she was on my IUP but on my brothers phone plan. now i have to go through the process of getting his authorization because he’s the account holder. anything for my mom. she knows the color and model she wants. so i guess i’ll join the preorder crew shortly 😩.
