Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

I got the confirmation email from apple with the Order # (saying that my order is being processed) and as of now, its still "preparing for shipment" (as it has been for the past day or so). Tried looking up info using the links given on page 1 (UPS and Apple Support) but absolutely NO luck :-(

I have to drive to Philly (from CT) somewhat early Friday morning and want to either have it delivered first thing or have it held at the UPS hub (where I used to work) to pick it up.

You might be able to use UPS my choice to have them hold it for pick up but when I tried to do that it said I wouldn't be able to pick it up until the 24th.
 
i know mine left Incheon, Korea, and it says its going to kentucky and left at 11:12... how do i find it... flight aware is ****ing me up

I would love to, I need tracking info first though, which I cant find on either UPS, FEDEx, or Apple website. :(

That flight landed 30+ minutes ago - your tracking status should update shortly stating the package is in Alaska. Mine just did.
 
My 2 iPhone 5 64GB left Incheon, Korea today and I guess are on their way stateside.

The fact that I know that information tells me I need to now do something productive. I now officially feel like nerd. At least I'm not tracking the plane. (yet)
 
UPS 069 lands shortly (4nm to go)
UPS 069 continues from PANC (Anchorage) to Louisville (KSDF) at 3:33pm AKDT which is 7:22pm EDT
UPS 069 lands in KSDF at 1:05am EDT on September 18th

n e 1 know if the phones have to deplane, or if they can stay in their seats to clear customs and have the plane turnaround for a departure in 2 hours?

For those that think they are leaving Nashville for home town, might want to check http://www.packagemapping.com. They are probably headed to Louisville Kentucky first :(

I remember seeing something about how to look up production weeks with your serial number. Can someone respond with this information? I can't seem to find it on the 100+ pages of this thread. :)
 
My shipping method changed from Standard Shipping to Holiday Shipping. Anybody knows what that means?

(My 16gb Black still says Preparing for Shipment and my CC charge is still pending)
 
I ordered mine at 2:24am on Friday.

When I use the instructions on the first page to find my phone, this is what I get:

ZhengZhou, China 09/17/2012 8:10 P.M. Arrival Scan

I wonder why some people show theirs shipping from another state and why mine is shipping from China?

Oh well, as long as it gets here by Friday, I'll be happy.
