Commercial aircraft sales. Buying and selling New, overhauled and service parts for airlines. Gotta keep those planes flying!

What about you ??

IT for a major airline. I make sure the pilots are reading e-mail in-flight. :p J/K.....for now.

My dad was Air Traffic Control until he retired recently.

Makes sense that once they are leaving Nashville for Louisville, since Louisville is the main hub for UPS. Big question is, when will they leave Louisville for their final destinations. Being in DFW, packages typically dispatch from UPS at the airport for local delivery. Can't imagine them being warehoused at the local depot for multiple days.

Mine was in Tennessee and I live in Georgia. There was a departure scan earlier today.

I don't know where it's departing to but I have a feeling it's gonna be farther away from me.

Actually, my packages usually go to Mesquite before coming to me in Dallas.

Did apple email anyone or post on the order status "shipped"? or you guys all just lucky with the UPS reference?

It seems that this is the model that is stuck in processing the most.

It's amazing to see how many people are freaking out in "Preparing Shipment" phase when we haven't even reached that phase  And we ordered when it was released online too!

Should have clarified, my over night packages generally come from DFW. My ground packages do sometimes come thru mesquite. Maybe depends what part of town they are being delivered to? Far north suburbs here.

You gotta love Apple:). Still says "preparing for shipment". Arrived in Anchorage within the past hour:cool:. From UPS site.

They may show preparing for shipping until the phone reaches the local hub, at which time they will bill and provide the tracking detail.

I just found another UPS flight 59 from HK to Anchorage that took ofd at 9:34. Exact time my tracking number shows for the departure scan. Guess this is the actual plane !

For those wondering.

I ordered three iPhone 16GB two whites & one black. I used the reference tool under UPS's website and entered my phone number (home phone) and it shows two packages each of them weighing two founds and they have been scanned at Addison, IL. I called UPS and they my packages were being merged into one package. As of right now they are on time but I recommend everyone in my situation to contact UPS and ask them and post back with your reply.

EDIT: for anyone in my situation contact UPS and ask them who the shipper is, I ask and they said Ingram Micro....anyone have any idea what that is?

Ingram Micro is a tech product distributor.

Are there any Europeans here that already have their shipping info or are at least in "Preparing Shipment"?

Mine still says "Processing Item", the SerialNr doesn't show up anywhere and UPS/Fedex don't know any of my numbers (phone/ordernr). Got an iPhone 5 64GB black, ordered 4 minutes after launch just as the store went up.

Edit: Still says 21.09 so I am confident. Didn't have an iPhone during the last week. Already showing signs of deprivation :(.

You know, I failed to think of that distinction.
