Are you quoting when you saw it land? IIRC there's a FAA mandated time delay on the real time data.

Chris

Even with that, there's no way they got all of those iPhones logged that quickly. My new theory is that his iPhone shipped from Korea, so his flight got in before the one that landed at 1:00PM local time.

Mr

United Parcel Service #61 arrived at Anchorage Intl (PANC) at 12:36PM AKDT from RKSI/ICN (Incheon Int'l)

They do not scan every package when it lands.

Individual packages are scanned > loaded in shipping containers > shipping containers are scanned > plane is a "master list."

That makes much more sense. Can you imagine how long it would take for them to scan each iPhone package?

I... want...my.... iphone............... 5!!!!!!!

Or at least put it on the page so i can track it, at least.

I'm in Nashville as well. Do you know where this warehouse is? I didn't know we had a big UPS hub. I thought that was in Louisville. I've seen some packages come from Mount Juliet before.

He told me last week they had 32,344 iPhones in and they were going to various warehouses per various carriers and Apple. He gave me a street address but I'd rather not be the one to let that info out.

I think a percentage of these were iPods.

UPS 59 lands in 1 1/2 hr

Mine left Chek Lap Kok, HK at 9:34PM local time and this flight will be landing stateside in Anchorage, AK in 1.5 hours. Then, should clear customs and head off to Louisville onto local sorting centers.

I was lucky enough to watch a "sort" in Memphis for FedEx and one for UPS in Louisville.

It is amazing to watch.

I wish I could track my iphone. :(((((((

Lucky bastards.

Make sure you are tracking it with phone number associated with your billing address. It may be or may not be the phone number for the iPhone you ordered.

What was that like? Were the iPhones sorting through? Any description of how the carriers sort through packages?

Not for iPhones.

Both UPS and FedEx were my clients at one time.

edit: Carriers have their own warehouses.

I ordered mine at 2:24am on Friday.

When I use the instructions on the first page to find my phone, this is what I get:

ZhengZhou, China 09/17/2012 8:10 P.M. Arrival Scan

I wonder why some people show theirs shipping from another state and why mine is shipping from China?

Oh well, as long as it gets here by Friday, I'll be happy.

LOL, maybe you're getting the goophone i5??
