Did u try ur billing number that was used to make the purchase?

Yeah that's all I am trying now..I get a shipment with my order number (minus last 2 numbers) but it is being shipped to a totally different state so I think that's wrong so no tracking info for me yet

I hope you do. I've been on 3GS for 3 years, so upgrades at every level + LTE has me pumped up for this iPhone.

All this flightaware tracking reminds me of when Payton Manning was going to sign with the Broncos and reporters were tracking his flights. Hella creepy tho.

well I have an android. Ready to get the iPhone. But if you ask siri what flights are above it'll tell you the flight number, airline, type of plane, distance up, and how far away. Very creepy!

We live in Anchorage and my parents are air traffic controllers, maybe they're directing all the phones! Too bad I can't get mine right now.......

So, as lucky as all you folks are, I ordered mine at 841 AM on launch day (EST) and it still says OCT 5 delivery. Bummer.

Any chance that changes???

I ordered a Verizon 64Gb Black at midnight on launch day. Mine still says preparing for shipment, delivered on 9/21. It does not show up on my support page or in UPS tracking. Anyone else in the same boat? Is it possible these are already in the US, and will just ship directly later in the week??

You forgot Radio Shack where I ordered mine this morning for Friday pick up.

It is reported that FoxConn has a capacity of 150,000 units/day. There is speculation that production began in July or early August. Let's assume it started in mid-July.

July - 2,550,000
August - 4,650,000
September - 1,950,000
Total = 9,150,000

By end of business today, FoxConn would have produced 600,000 units since Friday.

Apple claims sales of 2 million units in first 24 hours. We have no idea how many units were allotted to carriers, retailers, and Apple brick and mortar stores. Also, keep in mind that the iPhone 5 was launched in 9 countries.

Apple - 383 retail stores.
Best Buy ~1,500 stores
Target 1,700 stores
Wal-Mart 4,700 stores (United States)

Now add retail stores and carriers in the other 8 launch countries.

The dreaded "by the end of the day"

Just wanted to make sure others weren't making the same mistake as I was. Put your order number W1234567 in the "Shipping Reference" under "Track by Reference" on the UPS website. I was putting it in the "Track by number" and that clearly doesn't work. Thanks for whoever figured this out. Mine is in AK with everyone elses.

I'm ok with next week but man, waiting until october..ugh. shouldve preordered at a brick and mortar or just waited in line

Mine hasn't shipped yet although it is scheduled to deliver at 9/21 and I ordered before 3:15 AM on launch day.

Same boat here! 32GB Black AT&T, ordered 12:20 PST- "Preparing for Shipment" & no other info yet.

As long as you see 9/21 as the delivery status on Apple.com you're good to go for launch day delivery, according to an Apple rep I spoke to. Many iPhones are already in the US so some people may not see "activity" until as late as Thursday.

Hang in there!! :)

I left them out on purpose. There are so many "franchise" or "kiosk" stores, that it is difficult to give a good estimate.

The list is far from accurate. My intent was to show a general overview.

Im sure this has been asked before but, where does it usually go after Addison? or strait from addison does it go to the closest UPS depo/warehouse from my home?

I would like to know the same thing, Mines on Next Day Air Saver from there. Does that mean it will be to my local hub tomorrow?
