I ordered at 2:12am and my i5 just left Nashville, TN at 3:08pm today headed to Houston!

Mine is also on its way from Nashville to Los Angeles, expected delivery on 9/21.

I ordered from Apple.com around 12:30 am on Friday - is there any pattern of earlier orders coming from Nashville, later ones from China? At least it's en route!

I am not sure if there is any pattern for early ones vs. later ones. I know that mine says it originated in Nashville though and was processed there at 1:15 am.

My guess is that you are in a less rural area.

I ordered a Verizon 64Gb Black at midnight on launch day. Mine still says preparing for shipment, delivered on 9/21. It does not show up on my support page or in UPS tracking. Anyone else in the same boat? Is it possible these are already in the US, and will just ship directly later in the week??

I'm in the same boat with a Verizon black 32GB and 64GB. If they still say they will deliver by 9/21 on your account page, I'm confident they will be delivered as promised.

I tried that and was given a: Pickup by Monday the 24th, and immediately pushed cancel instead of confirm... lol.

Just wanted to make sure others weren't making the same mistake as I was. Put your order number W1234567 in the "Shipping Reference" under "Track by Reference" on the UPS website. I was putting it in the "Track by number" and that clearly doesn't work. Thanks for whoever figured this out. Mine is in AK with everyone elses.

I can put my phone number in and get a package tracked, but neither of my order numbers work. I think the sky is falling

Or as was mention earlier Addison is a consolidation point, yeah that's the ticket. The original order numbers won't show up on the tracking reference. I'm going to stick with that story for awhile....

Anyone notice the streamlining of the order process? Prior launches had the ability to pick up at store. If you went at open, you could get your hands on it sooner than those who chose to ship it.

What it did to the lines and staffing tho, was a nightmare. With such an anticipated device, they played it safe and went shipping only. If you didn't preorder and you absolutely want one on Launch day, you should probably start making plans to get in line.

My tracking info now says that my iPhone has left Nashville! My phone is now on its way to California with delivery on 9/21!

Both ups flights 61 and 69 are enroute to Louisville, both should be there by 10pm pst!!

You're right, there is no proof. Hence why I said, MIGHT. Idk if it will or not.
