So my serial number has been available on the Apple Support page since this morning, but I still can't find any info on UPS. Anyone else have this issue? I have a 16gb white on AT&T coming to Anchorage.

Yes. I have SN, but no luck with UPS.
I'm hoping that my very early order means mine was already in the U.S.
I meant in-cell touch-panels . How can we tell who made those give a serial number. May be sharp products might be better than lg.
My iPhone is in Anchorage as of 3:06PM today. I find that strange as I live in NYC. I've heard some iPhones going to Nashville which would've made much more sense. Anyone whose iPhone arrived in anchorage at around 3:06 would be on the same flight as me!
Thanks for the link. I wish my delivery is part of that. UPS just told me mine is Next Day Air Saver, which means by the end of the business day. I know and am glad I am getting it Friday, but I am not happy that a large number of people get theirs in the morning while I won't be until late afternoon or so. What a waste of a vacation day. I should have not pre ordered and just waited in line at my local Apple store. Would have been a lot more fun.
Pretty sure they all go through Anchorage. They all come from China, after all.
Same here. Maybe our iPhones will catch a flight together later tonight? Wonder where it'll go? I'm also in NYC! When I fly to Asia from NYC, we always go through Anchorage/Vancouver or stop in Hong Kong. It's faster to go that direction.

Doesn't matter, all iPhone delivery time commitments are cancelled Friday. You will get them sometime friday.

Some were already here in the U.S. when info was sent to UPS. I believe all origination points have been China, Nashville, and Addison, IL. Seems to be based on the model, not destination or timing. Those that originated in the U.S. are "holiday shipping," set up now for NDA saver.

All phones go through Anchorage to clear customs. Then flown to hubs for distribution. Sometimes a couple hops before it gets to your address.
Date commitment will hold up. Service-related time commitments are not guaranteed.

That's the end of August. It's august 27th to Sept 2. Mine is week 37 which is Sept 10-16
@KPOM raises a good point that I forgot about. If you are getting a discounted phone, you won't be able to buy a second discounted phone. Try calling Apple to see what you can do. You can probably try waiting in line, and if you are successful in getting a phone at the store, they might be able to cancel your pre-order for you. Definitely check with Apple to make sure! Sorry for the confusion!
