Other than chat logs (and we all know how reliable UPS customer service is)

... the only "substantive" evidence of iPhone deliveries being made by "end of day" is a screen grab from the UPS site -- BUT, on a tracking screen from a "Next Day Air Saver" shipment. Which isn't guaranteed until "end of day" anyway!
As I said in a previous post: as long as it comes ON the 21st I'll be happy! BUT, it'd be nice if it came in the morning, SOLELY because I'm on the East Coast and I'll be LESS worried about servers going down for activation!
And for those of you (like me) whose shipping shows "UPS Worldwide" -- think of this ...
... ASSUMING that Apple "stopped" morning deliveries of iPhones, consider this: since the full day's packages are put on the truck in the morning, how will the driver tell NOT to deliver a Worldwide package after 10:30am? How can the driver tell that what's in the box is an iPhone 5? Maybe someone ordered an unlocked iPhone 4S!
At least from past experience, Apple hasn't printed on the box "Hey I'm an iPhone 5 - DON'T deliver me until the end of the day!"
