It did come up yesterday around noon. I ordered at 3:25 AM, black 16GB AT&T. You?
I'm guessing maybe they'll be shipped today/tomorrow for us.

I wouldn't worry. I am surprised I even can find anything in the reference since it is in nashville and I am in atlanta....that usually is an over night. I mostly just want the applecare+ email. Granted I could probably call and add it since I know the serial thanks to that link on page 87

I got the emails (one for each phone,) and replied to both of them... but no feedback, contact, or even money charged to my card as of yet. Maybe nothing until activation or delivery I'm guessing.
My order can now be found at ups. It is leaving Nashville (started there) and taking the 15-20 minute drive to my local hub.
Seems like there were a bunch of warehouses scattered around to store the phones built in August and September, and now they are all, or just about all, congregating in Louisville for their final instructions from the US leader prior to their journey to serve us all. Perhaps its a pep rally or convention.
UPS said one of mine left Addison for Louisville at 6PM yesterday, but not further scans. Has there been any reports of truck hijacking in Indiana?

My order is one of the ones that has scanned for departure twice from Nashville supposedly going to louisville ky. I live in ky about 30 mins away from Louisville. I believe it is going to sit there until Thursday and then it will come to me. Like someone said, they wouldnt want to let it get close enough to where my delivery driver can accidentally put it in his truck. I can't see why else it would take so long to go from Nashville to Louisville. I could have driven back and forth a few time.

My girlfriend thinks I'm insane. I woke up at 3am to preorder a 64GB Black on Friday. Now I'm patiently tracking and waiting - the anticipation is killing me! I took off work on Friday (before anyone comments, I have 3 full paid weeks left this year and I need to take at least 1 full week yet) lol!
I plan on waking up early, getting some coffee, and probably sit around, play video games, and wait for this delivery. I so rarely just "slow down" and do nothing so this really is like a holiday for me!!
Glad to see others share the passion like I do.

for those that posted getting worried about the white 16gb not showing up...or info not showing up and they live in NY.
i have the white 16gb and live in NY state...and the S/N showed up on the support page and tracking is now up and showing in TN as of sometime last night/early this morning.
So just an FYI to those who couldn't see it before.... you might be able to see it now

I feel like it would be good to keep a running overall summary that can be posted and updated frequently. I'm probably not the person to maintain this as I will be in rural Alabama/Mississippi tomorrow and not very available.
Current Info
The Store.Apple.com order status currently states Preparing for Shipment or Order Processing for everyone as of this posting. No one has reported the status as shipped so far.
Some phones are already stateside, originating in TN or IL. Others are coming through AK and going to either Ontario, California or the Louisville UPS hub.
You can check and see if you can get a tracking number early by following the guide in the first post of this thread. It seems the most reliable reference number is the billing phone number listed in your Store.Apple.com account. It should be entered as 5555555555, no dashes, spaces, or beginning 1's.
If you can't get tracking via UPS, DON'T Panic. If your Apple order says delivers Sep 21, all indications are that this is true.
If you want to check your serial number, go to Apple Support. This should list your iPhone 5 Serial number close to when it is shipped.
To see info on what said serial number means, visit http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html/
If you don't have a serial number yet, keep checking back. Most likely you also didn't get a tracking number yet, but a few reports say that you may get a tracking number before a serial number.
Please add to and edit this list as new info comes in and continue to post it when people keep asking the same questions. I don't expect everyone to have read the entire thread so posting this often will hopefully help.

I got my confirmation emails and when i check my apple account online I see both orders. Oddly though, only one phone shows up when I track by reference the order numbers (one order number works, the other doesn't).
Also, on apples website under my orders, one phone shows "Delivers by 9/21" and the other shows "Delivers by 9/21 via standard shipping."
As of yesterday both orders were still showing up as pending charges on my credit card
Today, the phone that I can track by reference and says "Delivers by 9/21 via standard shipping" has become a firm charge on my credit card but the other has dropped off the card completely (isn't pending or firm).
Ultimately, apples site says the order is still good and still coming the 21st, but what gives? Why are these two orders statusing so differently?
Anyone else have this going on?

I was a Traffic Manager for my previous employer. I found that yahoo small business tools, worked well in tracking packages. It often would show more tracking info then UPS's website would show. We never tried this on other carriers. But UPS Suits seen it for their own eyes, many said they were going to look into it, never heard anything. if the link scares ya and I dont blame ya, just goto yahoo .. look for other services.., then small business, then look for tools. Look harder... its there.
My packages shows shipping from China..and as of 1:0am central.. it arrived at Lousiville, KY via UPS

One has shipped, one hasn't. The authorized hold will go back on there later on. Based on the info provided, I'm going to assume that one was 16GB and the other a larger capacity?
just want to give a heads up, based off of an above poster's notice of the pending charge dropping off of our bank accounts -- this is usually apple's procedure once shipment begins. the charge will fully go through upon delivery.
