Uhh major problem then! Lol mine and almost everyone else I've seen is at 0.40Lbs. 2 pounds is insane. Hope you don't get a pile of bricks.

I have received the serial number on the Apple support product page (64gb black ip5 created in week 34), but still no UPS tracking info despite typing the phone number many, many times. Apple.com still showing preparing for shipping and delivers on 9/21. I'm not worried or concerned, but find the many different types of info being discovered by everyone here to be very interesting. I'm sure the will be a huge collective sigh of relief once Apple.com releases the tracking numbers to all of who ordered on their site. I placed my order on 9/14 at 12:04 a.m. PDT using the Apple Store App on my iphone 4 and received the confirmation email at 12:17 a.m. PDT.
My UPS tracking now shows delivery by 10:30am Friday. It was saying end of day. What are the chances that will happen? I'm going with slim to none lol

2nd iPhone in transit from Anchorage (I assume to Louisville)

Are your iPhones going to Houston? Same here.. I've ordered another product this week and I was supposed to get it today or still am, but it's 18:16 and the package isn't there.. I hope they don't do the same thing on friday with iPhone, I'll be pissed to wait until like 8pm
There have been many reports here of their shipping weight defaulted to 2 lbs.
UPS said before all time claims on packages wouldn't be applicable but they guarantee that you will receive your package on 9/21.
I think the UPS system is a little behind on updates, my phone arrived in Louisville at 4AM but package tracking was just recently updated.
Mine just started moving, after 2 days in IL.

I see the arrival in Louisville-it arrived there at 12:07am. Now just waiting for it to move on from there.
I went to bed Thursday the 13th (PDT) planning to be up around 5 o'clock and pre-order the iP5 first thing. At 12 AM iCal alerted me to something I had forgotten about, but had scheduled as an all day event. Looking at the clock, realizing pre-orders should be starting, I went to the Apple Store web site only to receive the site is down in multiple languages notification.
I decided to wait it out thinking I would give it about 10 minutes before going back to bed. At about 12:04 I got in, placed my order (32GB black) and received a confirmation email at 12:12 for the 21st delivery.
I went back to bed and when I woke at 5, saw the pre-orders had dried up by 1 AM my time.
I'm thankful my very, very tired 3GS woke me at midnight. The device is currently on stand-by in KY.

Yes, I did. That's what told me mine was produced in week 34. Too bad it can't also give me a tracking number!
Yes the UPS site just got updated with the scans. My iPhone arrived at Louisville at 3:06 AM and it is just reflected now on my tracking page.

Ordered my 64gb on 14th at 12:14 am pacific time, rcd conf. at 12:21 am. Still says "preparing for shipment" as well, I searched UPS using my registered telephone number with iTunes as others have stated, and voila, shipped on the 16th and is currently in Davy Crockett's old turf. Ordered two cables on 14th as well and FedEx says delivers on 20th.
