I ordered mine at 3:10am on release day ET, and it's still preparing for shipment. I assume this will change tonight or tomorrow, scheduled for next day. Not that I haven't checked the tracking site about 200 times.

I ordered 4 iPhone 5's directly from our AT&T rep because it is a large business account. I placed the order with the AT&T rep at 10AM EDT on pre-order day. I do not know exactly when he put it in the system. Got order confirmation at 2AM on Saturday morning. As of now entire order shows as shipped!

what time does UPS usually "finish" their delivery time? is it 6pm and all the trucks should've finished all their deliveries and head back to the lot or something? Im going to work at 1pm then coming home from 5-7pm then going back to work.

I'm not sure. Mine usually gets delivered around 4ish. But when I got my 3GS in the mail it was there by lunch time. Can't remember if it was FedEx or UPS though. No real matter to me anyways, I'm on vacation all week. Took the last two weeks off in anticipation of the iPhone 5 release. (troll face)

My husband purchased three iPhone 5's at 3am Friday morning. Since then he has been on his computer tracking the phones. Last night he showed me a satellite image of the UPS hub in Illinois. I am now officially worried!

You could cancel and go get in line in the next 12 hours or wait until Thursday night. Get shut down at the store, then pre-order again and upgrade to the 3-4 week shipping timeframe. hmmmm. Tough call.
Hopefully it just was not scanned yet after getting to KY, but just being on a flight wouldn't be bad either..
I think there was a problem with the shipment to Toronto. There was going to be a 3 day delay but it will get there.
Neither do I, I just used tracking by reference. According to apple I'm preparing to ship, according to ups, my iPhone has been flying for the last 33 hours.
