Correct, but CS can associate the IMEI and the ICCID of that phone and SIM with your account before you run the activation.

I don't think the rep knows what he is talking about then... I did it last year and it went perfectly.

Been holding this thread as my lifeline for the past few days, and wanted to add my 2 cents. (great job on tracking the flights btw, guys :) )

Mine has been in Louisville since 9/18/12 12:07AM like a few others (32GB Black AT&T).

As all are fretting over rerouting deliveries that're already in a state of preparing to ship... I wanted to note that any of you that're still stuck in Processing have a chance to change your delivery address.

I changed mine on Apple.com from my home to my work address (boss' admin assistant will sign and it'll get dropped off for me at my cubicle :p) while it was still in the processing phase and as far as I know it'll be delivered to the new address.

TLDR; if you're in processing and need to change the address - do it now!

I've noticed a lot of people have been saying their UPS tracking doesn't give a specific time (9:30-1, by 10:30 ect). In order to SEE the narrowed window you need to signup for UPS My Choice.

Wait what?!:confused: I thought i just needed to call ATT before I activated and tell them to activate it for my line instead of the line that was eligible for the upgrade?!
 
I was able to change my shipping address the day after I preorderd while the order was still processing. I can confirm that UPS has the updated address... If you add the package to MyUPS it will show the destination address on the right side of the tracking page.

This is irrelevant though because UPS is not following normal service commitments for these shipments. They are committing to the day. This is reflected in their notice that comes up if you click on Live Chat. The communication has been somewhat poor but, then again, they probably didn't expect anyone to know that they've shipped because Apple hasn't sent anyone tracking numbers.

Yes, this is a correct statement. Only 1 of my 2 iphones said delivered by 10am. When I signed into my UPS mychoice, they both now say by 10:30am :)

If you sign up for MyChoice Premium you can pre-sign for your package and specify 1 out of 3 (2) hour delivery windows. $40 per year and $5 per package.
 
I pre-ordered mine about 30 minutes after the Apple site started allowing orders. It still says "Delivers 9/21 via Standard Shipping", but the current status is still in "Preparing for Shipment". Should I start to worry that this will be the first iPhone I don't get on launch day?

No one's have "officially" shipped via the Apple website. You'll get it - don't worry.

Our guess is the shipment notifications will go out tomorrow.

No. See info in the first post. No one's order has changed to shipped.

I am with you but when i call ATT to order Nanosim they are not able to find in there system.

Can you give me ATT part number for Nano Sim from you order.
