Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

Eh not to worried, it still says I will get it on 9/21. I'm just bummed that I don't get to have all the tracking fun that all of you guys are having.
For those of you who haven't signed up for UPS Quantum View and don't know what options are available to you here is a screenshot from a Quantum View tracking of an iPhone 5.
1. When tracking by reference number you get your full delivery address that the package is going to opposed to just city/state.
2. You can change your delivery up to the point the package is on the truck for final delivery.
3. You can get 3 levels of status updates.
4. You can specify a delivery window (for paid Quantom View accounts only, $40/yr)
5. You can provide special delivery instructions.
6. You can give your tracking number a "friendly" nickname and then track by your nickname (iPhone 5, in this example).

Same here. I am sure if it says 21 it will be here Friday.
I have the same info on my UPS tracking... We tracked the flight though yesterday. It arrived in the morning... around 9:30 AM Central time.
Ordered 2 phones 32gb white and 16gb white at 3:17 am got 9/21 as delivery both say preparing for shipment, should I worry
If it says 21, it will be here on the 21st. Calm down!
I got my iPhone customer service email from AT&T. I heard that was indicator that your phone would be shipping soon but my order is still showing "Processing Items" and Oct 5th.
Anyone have any idea how it takes for your phone to ship after you get this email? Trying to check to see if credit card but the website isn't working

I got this email too. Where did you here this? And mine says processing still too.
I just noticed my CC card has been fully charged, no more pending charge. Still sitting in Louisville, KY.
Not sure if I heard it ships soon or if all the first hour pre-orders said they received the email...not really sure if it indicates when they will ship.
Yeah jw because I was a first hour preorder and got the email. Like I said, mine is still processing and says deliver on 21.

No. All USA orders still say "Preparing for Shipment". See previous posts...
Tracking number is unrelated to the status on Apple.com. Please read the OP.
Edit: the one post you've seen that shows Shipped is the first report we've seen (and is unverified at this time). He's also in the UK.
I checked it around 2 hours ago, and it still said "Preparing to ship" I decided to go and download IOS6 ,and then once that was finished i went and looked at the shipping page and Voila! shipped.
I wasn't expecting that until tomorrow.

Seriously, what does yours say? If still "processing" on the Apple site, you may want to call them and make sure there is not a hold for some reason. Mine had a hold after the first day that I called about and cleared up. It is now showing preparing for shipment and I have a serial number on the apple product support page. The UPS tracking info is also there by accessing it with my apple account registered phone number.
