I'm in the same boat as a lot of people. Package departed Alaska on 9/18 on a flight that seems to never have landed in Kentucky. Don't know why it hasn't been scanned yet...so much for delayed-time tracking even.

Mine still says "Preparing for Shipment", and I ordered by 3:15am EST at release. I'm guessing either the system is just slow in updating or they're doing them in waves. I'm not sure if I should call and verify or let it go for now.

Hey I'm in the same boat here. I tracked mine with UPS reference number and it's in IL supposedly being transfered to Kentucky but on the Apple site it's still "Preparing for Shipment". I think most phones on the apple site have this listing though. It probably won't change until either tonight or tomorrow when they "officially" start shipping.

Do you have the UPS Pre-Sign release form available? A lot of us on here need it before Friday.

There was a UPS pre-authorization form posted a while back (from iPhone 4 release), but there has been a lot of discussion over whether UPS will accept that. There may be one available after Apple marks packages as shipped.

If you won't be there to accept your package, you might as well give it a try.

Mine is also the same. My card has been charged by the Apple Online Store, still Preparing for Shipment, I assume Apple will release tracking information when it leaves Louisville to it's final destination, but mine still hasn't arrived in Louisville yet, only Departed AK.

Sorry, think I may have confused you with another poster.

Sorry. :D

Also, not really questioning the validity as much as trying to prove a point. Trying to think of how we would even go about verifying???

lol it's ok, I think there's lots of us chicks hiding out here ;)

best I can do to verify

There should be movement with the Louisville orders later tonight (Midnight), depending on final destination. My guess is that mine will be on a truck tomorrow morning to Addison, then to my local distribution center.

btw: Thanks for the work on this thread Gecko.

I'm thinking the same. We should see Apple statuses go to "Shipped" by tomorrow with activity on our packages tonight. I'm thinking the one we've seen in the UK go to "Shipped" would indicative of that since she is several hours ahead of us.

There are several others that have done a lot more work within the thread than me. I just keep the main post updated. ;)

Ditto. But UPS is notorious for missing scans (or at least not posting them to the website for us to see) so I wouldn't read to much into it.

The only scan I got last year was the delivery scan.

lol, it's only facebook, gmail and a few other things in my bookmarks. But some are not exactly legal, "Yarr" if you catch my drift. :)

LOL...I meant chicks shouldn't be hiding. Us geeks have a hard enough time as it is. :p

Every time I have picked up a package at a UPS facility, they've told me between 8-8:30pm only. The 3 or 4 times I've had to do this was due to failed delivery attempts. I don't know I'd will call works differently.

dang.. good to know. Wont use that then. Thanks!

Get your own thread you two.... :p

lol. Hiding is essential, especially in places like this , IRC, and other geek infested waters.

:D

FYI, it seems UK customers are all seeing their status change to "Shipped". I would expect US customers to see the same thing later this evening based on time zone differences.

I've updated the OP to reflect this.

Cool, which number did you use for a reference number? The order number?

White 64G Verizon ordered at 3:14 still no tracking #/SN

I'm I the only one here??? Start to get worried........

I think the US orders will probably be listed as "shipped" on Apple tonight (US Time - whichever coast you are on)

Being in the UK we are a little ahead of you guys, but not by much so I am going to go with shipments starting tonight for the USA

I hope so , as I think it's a little unfair, then again, if we get ours at 8am, you guys would have to get up at 3am for delivery and I don't care what is waiting at my front door step , I won't get up at 3am for anything

I wouldn't worry. I think a lot of the Verizon stock was already in the US and may not be handled the same. If your order shows a date of 9/21, you should be fine.

BTW, did you try the phone numbers you have listed in iTunes as your tracking #?
