Anyone else's order still marked Processing Items?

I made my order around 3:40am on the 14th, then updated my address around 10:00am (same day). I have been charged the money and my delivery date is still Friday the 21st.

I have tried tracking the package on ups.com-- no luck.

Exact same position as you. Everything is the same, even our order times.

lol, I was expecting the same thing, hence why I didn't stay indoors or take my 4s with me and try and order that way. It was my first time ordering on Apple's website for a launch iphone. I thought "ahh crap, the site will go down and I will never get there in time"

So 08:45 rolls round and I am sipping my tea, thought I'd give it a shot.

I think we are both going to be wide awake when delivery day rolls around. I know I will be getting up at 6am, just in case the buggers come early (as usual) I switched shifts at work and did Monday and Tuesday so I could have the Thurs and Friday off.

yeah, I took friday off so will just be sitting in the living room all day waiting for that ups truck

We can't track in the UK either (those who ordered with 02/carriers might be able to) the Apple website gives Syncreon as the parcel delivery service but their website cannot or will not function right now .

I doubt we will be able to track it all at.

Both of mine still say Preparing for shipment on Apple.com and have been in Louisville since yesterday.

is anyone else's order still processing but says delivery on the 21st? I'm a bit concerned that everyone else is getting shipping info and is actually going as far as to track the plane's they're on for whatever reason, but mine still says processing and not even preparing for shipment.

I know this is probably a "your milage may vary" kind of situation, but I figured I'd rather ask than not:

My iPhone is being shipped to my apartment (instead of my work address as I'd intended). Generally, most things shipped to my apartment get taken to the office and signed for there, but I've occasionally had a FedEX item or two that they have had to leave the slip to get my signature and try another delivery.

Obviously, I'd like to avoid that happening to me on Friday. As my item hasn't shipped yet, I don't know which carrier (As I've heard both UPS and FedEX are options?), but I believe there is a form I can print out and sign in advance, but if I use that, can I direct the delivery folks to deliver to the office?

I would think with that form plus giving it to your front office they would leave it.

I'm now even more pumped for Friday to come. AT&T actually turned on LTE in Portland, Oregon today. Boy, I hope the next 2 days pass VERY quickly! 😀

Same here. They threw the switch in Detroit today. So excited to see if it makes it to my house. Regardless, I'm excited about the phone itself too. Just more excited to know I'll get to actually try LTE on it at some point in the near future.

After Friday, there is nothing in the near future that I am "waiting anxiously" for... so, I will be glad for time to start feeling normal again. its going WAY to slow right now

I have already seen a handful of posts on Facebook/Twitter saying the 4S is exactly the same phone as the 5 after the iOS6 update. That it's a waste of money if you have a 4S. Samsung employees? lol

The email notification for my shipment from Apple says

We expect your order to be delivered to your shipping address on or before 21/09/2012.

But, the Apple website tracking states.....(click on track shipment)

Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) Sep 21, 2012



On or before? I doubt they would deliver this tomorrow, but I am staying in all day anyway. I thought I'd give the US guys a heads up so we are not all worrying about these details tonight (6pm US / ship time) or on Launch day.

I'm sure they'll cut 'em all lose tomorrow and deliver on Friday...

In other news, something I thought was different/interesting was the pre-authorization on my debit card was allowed to post, instead of coming back off. I suppose because they shipped them so quickly after the pre-orders began.

Same here. A lot of people are saying that. Don't worry.

If by any chance you guys ordered multiple phones, look under each lines phone number on the UPS site.

Apple shows preparing for shipment, still, but I was able to look under my second line that I ordered a phone for and there was tracking info for both phones.

Just a thought.

Processing Items Dispatched: 2 - 3 Weeks Delivers 09 Oct, 2012 - 15 Oct, 2012

What time did you preorder?

I preordered two phones, in two separate orders, 4 minutes apart, last confirmation email came at 12.52 pacific.
First phone went to set to deliver 21st and I am able to see it in profile and track. Coming from China. Made in September.
Second went to delivery on 10.05 saturday and switched to delivery on 21st.
I am now able to see it(wednesday) in support profile and track shipping. Made in August and coming from Nashville.

Here's mine. I had trouble changing my shipping address so Apple put in a request to change mine and i guess the request just went through, the change is only like a 5 mile difference.

So what tracking service are y'all using, the UPS app (broken in iOS 6 for me) or June cloud, which is what I'm using.

hey, so for everyone who is worrying about not being home on Friday to get their phones..i just talked to UPS and they said once you get the infonotice on your door, you can tell them to hold at UPS facility and pick it up saturday morning. you'd have to call them before 7pm, your time, though to get it saturday. that's not too bad!
