Not in the USA. It will probably be tonight or early tomorrow. They are all sitting in the starting blocks in KY or similar staging areas waiting for the go ahead for Friday delivery.

Looking ahead, that was a really good idea. I'd like to see the distribution of shipment notices and where people are. After reading the OP, it seems like people in the Midwest and Southern US wouldn't be getting anything until tomorrow since it's pretty much overnight from Chicago, Memphis, or Louisville. I get stuff sent overnight to me all the time from UPS via Amazon that way.

BTW, when did Apple change to UPS? I've always gotten stuff from them before via FedEx.

Yep. But it doesn't work. No ones tracking info is working yet, despite it being emailed 6 hours ago.

That's not atypical of shipping in general. I wouldn't be too concerned. It'll probably start working after they get the labels entered into the UPS system.

I would imagine Apple negotiated the "best deal" with UPS for this iPhone 5 initial rollout. It will be interesting to see what carrier delivers the subsequent individual orders in October and beyond. I received my Lightning to USB cable today by FedEx. I wonder what carrier they are using to deliver the iPhone 5 shipments to the various retail stores that will have very long lines on Friday morning? Those will all be delivered tomorrow (and maybe some were delivered today).

Nope, you left Alaska yesterday. It's in a warehouse in Louisville, KY. A lot of us are sitting there without an arrival scan. They'll most likely get scanned tonight.

*crosses fingers*

Yeah I got mine too, but I am in the UK and the Syncreon site for tracking is down.

Was wondering where you went. Almost pinged you to come offer your expertise. :p

lol I got distracted watching Dark Shadows. I love Tim Burton but not as much as I like obsessively hitting the refresh on Syncreon's website. :p

*sigh* might go to bed soon and just see if tomorrow brings any surprises, I am getting very very tired sitting here waiting for the sys admin at Syncreon to stop gaming and deliver the rabid zombies their tracking info.

I have a feeling Syncreon might be holding the phone and using UKMail to deliver.

As for the USA I think they will get their tracking info, shipped notifications at 6pm tonight! which is just around the corner!

I spent an entire day at the Tim Burton exhibit at MOMA. That guys lives in another world. I'll have to use my new iPhone 5 to take some pics of my "Tragic Toys for Girls and Boys". :D

You're so lucky!! that's awesome. He is weird, but that's what I like about him!

That'd be great if you can grab some pics! thanks :)

I hope everyone that has the 21st as their delivery date has gone through Anchorage already because we're having our 4th hurricane force storm in 2 weeks and the planes are being diverted. 110 mph winds!

Moving right along.

2 lightning adapters and 2 lightning to USB cables ordered around 12:30am on the 14th right after I ordered 2 iPhones have been delivered today. iPhones still cooling their respective heels in Kentucky.

Apple support lady: "Nothing short of a natural disaster will keep your phone from being delivered by the 21st"

My thoughts now:".........well *****"

Talk about some crappy luck...lol

I'm always hesitant to trust the "friend of a friend's cousin's next door neighboor, whose brother's cousin's teacher, knows the guy at UPS..."

Who's  now?

I saw a UPS driver on my bike commute home on a residential street, so I followed him until he made a stop. He doesn't deliver to my house, even though where I caught him is about 6 blocks from my house. He described my UPS driver's truck and told me his name.

He said that he's gearing up for a really busy day Friday.
