Supposedly "Worldwide Express" will be changed to end of day once the phone is out for delivery. Worldwide Express applied to the shipping from China to the UPS hub. UPS is not guaranteeing delivery by 12.

I'm sure your's says that it has departed from Alaska. Mine says the same. That means it's not actually in Alaska anymore. Mine is probably somewhere in Iowa where it is getting delivered. UPS just hasn't updated.
 
whoo hoo i got the "shipped" email from apple, but we already knew what was going on. anyway wanted to add another post to beat the UK thread. can't wait for tomorrow. off tomorrow, just gotta get through this 12 hour day here.
 
Lucky. I'm still stuck with a departure scan out of Anchorage at 12:58 am on the 18th. Lol. At least this morning I finally got the "congrats; it's on its way," email from Apple.

I'm in the southern california area as well and this information was helpful (mine just says picked up from fort worth, tx).

Just got an import scan in Louisville for one of my phones. The other must have gotten lost on the way from Alaska. I'm in Minnesota, so they could have just dropped it off at my place..... :)
 
I just noticed the package mapping site shows my missing phone to have arrived in Louisville but the UPS site still has it in limbo. Both phones have just had a location scan.It looks like UPS is going through location scanning the phones for audit purposes. Which means, as we thought, the phone was in louisville all theis time, just missed the arrival scan.

As of right now my last update was that is departed Korea on the 19th

I know it will probably change this morning that it is somewhere in the US. Tracking says its on-time and will be delivered on the 21st by 10:30am which i believe because its a business and we have our regular scheduled deliveries around then.
 
Ok, so I had my phone shipped to work (I teach at a high school) Our UPS is always here faithfully at or around noon. Hopefully this mass shipping doesn't put a ding in that.
 
To answer my own question about the 10:30am, I did a chat with UPS and this is what I recieved.....


Brooke Denning: I ordered an iphone and the tracking says it will be delivered by 10:30am. The UPS guy never comes that early to my house. I know I have to sign for the package so I am trying to schedule my day. Is this an accurate time frame?

Lucy M.: Yes, that is the committed time for the delivery of your package.

Lucy M.: The service level requested by the shipper has this committed time to it.

Yeah, Idk why I have two packages showing. I only ordered one phone. UPS My Choice has even sent me two confirmations that two separate packages will be delivered tomorrow between 11-3pm. Two separate tracking numbers, both pulled up on ups website via my phone number as reference.

Hrm...
 
Got my shipped email. What worries me, though, is that I requested a re-route (reflected on the UPS tracking page), but the pre-sign is still a different name and address. Sneaking suspicion I won't be seeing my phone tomorrow.

My Last update is it left Anchorage, AK at 12:58AM on the 18th. Does still say delivery by 10:30 AM.

2nd phone I ordered (stuck in Alaska is for my wife) is in KY and not moving since the 18th as well. This one originated in Nashville but it an end of day delivery.

Wish I could see some movement on the Alaska one since it had a departure scan so long ago.

I went back and checked mine. Both have import scans in Louisville at 8:38. I got the email for one at 5:39, the other at 8:24. The flight from Louisville to Detroit landed at 5:43. My guess is both are still in Louisville and will be on the AM flight tomorrow that arrives at 5:43.

Edit: No rhyme or reason. The one that has been in KY for the last 3 days and sent out the email at 5:39 this morning import scanned at 8:27. The one that left Anchorage yesterday, import scanned at 7:39 and emailed at 8:24.

I hope the poster above about 10:30 delivery is right. It'd be nice to tell the folks at home it will be there early so they can get on about their day.
 
Apple Store status changed to "Shipped" for my phone, and the tracking # matches exactly with what I was able to find via reference number.
 
Anyone starting to get spam emails that there is an issue with a UPS order and click here to resolve?

There's always the good old Nigerian scammer. I liked to chum them along. Mine is finally showing Apple action. Ordered 14th 12:14 am. 64gb black AT&T.
