Hahaha to judge? What am I judging? I'm just telling the truth, this is the Internet. No one honestly cares whether you get your iPhone tomorrow as long as they get Theirs!

Your overall tone was depicting those as in a negative sense, so ultimately you are judging. I guess you are saying your opinion of seeing them negatively is the whole internet's consensus? If not, then yes you are judging them

The status has been "Preparing for Shipment" for three days now.

My Apple order page doesn't say if it is "Holiday Shipping" or "Next Day Shipping", but the Apple Store iOS app says that it is "Holiday Shipping".

It sounds mixed. :)

Apple page has a link on the left as "View/Edit Order Details" where you can see "Method" for details.

----------

I'm in Fairfax, VA (near Wegman's) and I have a by 10:30am time

You lucky bastard! :) I am in Vienna, VA and still no shipping details.

looks like they fly at 4am and 4pm every day into Orlando, and 4am every day into Miami

Just to note that there may be several more UPS cargo flights to Fla. For example, there are four daily direct flight to MHT, but also 16 indirect (one stop). There are at least 20 paths the package could be on... and that does not include the possibility of additional aircraft, although iPhones are small and it doesn't take much space to move a ton of them.

It's always weird to hear that Wegmans is anywhere, but Rochester.

Still 10/2 delivery for me. Ordered 3:54 AM EST last Friday. just missed the 9/21 cutoff.

If you still have 9/21, I think they will figure out to deliver tomorrow.

It would be somewhere in the air now and heading to your location. Tracking info is not updated regularly and sucks.

1. I did an airport run (250miles round trip) and must have passed 7 Fed Ex big rigs so i'm thinking about you guys getting your iPhones on friday.

2. I got a shipping notice! Except it was for the USB-Lightning cable  that was originally going to arrive on 19 October, except now it's 24 September. Unfortunately i'm on the 5 Oct Delivery batch so I was thinking to myself "Way to troll me, :apple:"

/sigh/

But to all of you getting yours tomorrow, Hi-5! :D

Somewhat off topic but if you have an unlimited plan with AT&T can you just activate your phone and it'll transfer over?

The first post contains the screenshot, which states the commitment to residential addresses.

Since I knew what it said already becuz I posted a screen shot of that of my own in a different thread the other day... I read everything else, twice... To make sure I did not miss it before I posted. Forgot about the screen shot.

Just because that is there commitment, it doesn't necessarily mean that mine saying 10:30 AM is wrong, it did just change a few hours ago. But I don't know how all this works, I will know tomorrow though.

My package is shipping to my workplace. Do I need to presign and leave it at the front or can the office manager sign for the package like he does for most things?

The UPS chat info box wording has changed (The screen shot in the Original Post). See Below. They took out "End of the day" at the least.

Please read the OP.

FYI for OP

iPhone 5 Polls

Incase you missed the polling I put up the links together for you guys.

Which iPhone are you getting?
http://strawpoll.me/3624

So far its a horse race between the black 16 and black 32GBs

Are you switching carriers?
http://strawpoll.me/3625

So far it seems that the vast majority are on At&t and they want to stay there.

you can keep the polls in tabs and watch as they update live.

That stinks. :/

I decided to bother UPS for a second, I asked:

Me: "If my tracking information for my iPhone 5 says it will be delivered by 10:30 AM, Can I actually expect this?"
Rep: "Yes, UPS Worldwide Express is guaranteed Delivery by 10:30 AM"
Rep: "This applies to iPhone 5 shipments as well."
Me: "Thanks, sorry to bother you, that's all I needed. Have a good day."
Rep: "No Problem, I understand."
Rep: "I will be waiting for mine too."

That stinks. :/

isn't that a good thing that they took out end of day? cause before, the 10:30am people, it said there was no time commitment anymore, but now that they took out end of day, i feel like that implies they're doing time commitments.
