This is kind of fun, watching my phone travel around the world like this... I would of course rather have it here today - but what are ya gonna do, right? :D

Guess our phones are on the same flight.
 
My phone left China at 4:30 PM their time. I checked packagemapping and it's showing that it's going from China straight to Louisville with no stops in between. Is this even possible?
 
My phone landed in Kentucky late last night and has remained there so far...my UPS tracking says delivery by end of day on Thursday (I'm in NC). So close now, but still hard to wait essentially 2 more days!

Please keep in mind that the updates on UPS are not current. I have one of my phones doing the same thing. With no ETA according to UPS because the "shipper" didnt enter in the information. So since I have 2 iPhones on 2 separate shippments I gotta be on watch at work for those things. Who knows they may magically show up tomorrow at work....or next week.

Although it is fun to track the packages, you have to use some judgement and take some information with a grain of salt. UPS is notorious for miss scans, typos, and bad scans, but it can give you a rough idea of whats going on. If you see something that doesn't make sense, it probably is an error somewhere, but maybe not. I wouldn't jump to conclusions until you see another scan, such as an arrival scan in Louisville.

I think you will see an arrival and departure and perhaps location type scans in Anchorage Alaska pop up in your tracking.
 
Awesome, just checked my tracking, and delivery has been pushed up from Thursday to tomorrow... :D

You're the first person I've heard of that has as late of a shipping date as me! I have an October 9th-16th ship date. I'm still in the processing items stage, and it hasn't changed from that status for over a week. So frustrating.

I also have a delivery date of Oct 10-16, still in "processing". Pretty annoying.

Oct. 9-15th for me, nothing has changed yet..... I'm hoping it will change by this weekend.. Let me know if you start getting updates.. :(
 
Just got my tracking info for delivery tomorrow!

Order number starting with 1711, ordered on 9/14 about 6:30am cst. went off backorder sometime saturday.

My daughter ordered hers about 4:30p.m. on 9/14 pst from Apple.com. AT&T 16GB White. Available to ship 2-3 weeks. She also has a delivers Oct. 9 -15th. It's status: "Processing Items". She's anxiously waiting to see an status update.

Ordered 16 gb black iPhone 5 for Verizon on 9/14 at 9am EST. Original delivery date of 10/5. Shipped on 9/22, expected delivery on 9/28, updated delivery to today, 9/25.. The device is GORGEOUS. No scratches or imperfections out of the box as others have reported, no strange screen behavior or yellow tinting. Verizon's 4g LTE is speed here in NYC is BANANAS, I am averaging 20mbps on download 10 on upload, the wifi in my house is 2mbps. I hope everyone else has a speedy delivery of a flawless iPhone 5.
