OK a couple of updates here, first the $36 should actually be on your account before you ask them to waive it. It works much easier that way.I finally got them to credit $36 to my account. Ha, nice job on the $12.
I also read here that someone got ATT to credit their account $250 for an early upgrade fee, which I cannot seem to find anymore. Does anyone know if this is true?
Also, each CSR is about to provide up to $250 in account credits based on the issue you are calling about. Most will not offer more than $150 unless there is real issue customer recovery issue vs a perceived issue. You are not all entitled to a $250 credit just because someone else received one.
Note: The CSR can see your recent call history and if you are calling in all the time asking for the same thing, you are less likely to get any assistance.
Special Note: They are not going to do something for you that is going to get them written up or fired, sorry but most callers are just not worth that! Things like your account history, payment history and frequency of calls all impact the amout of credits that are offered.
