Hey guys, I've been lurking on this forum since I woke up Friday morning and I've just gotta post.

Location: GA
Order time: 3:27AM EST
Order Reached Processing: Friday 9:02AM EST
Order Reached Preparing to Ship: Saturday 8:35PM EST

Now I'm checking the UPS tracking every 20 minutes or so waiting for mine to show up (I'm clearly not the only one, UPS has started to slow down in the past hour :) ). I ordered within 2 minutes of two of my friends and it's sort of become a race to see who reaches the next step first. Anyways, I'm stoked!

Still Processing?

With the iPhone 4 you had to activate the phone on the line that you used to buy the phone (if you used an upgrade). On the iPhone 4S that was no longer the case (at least on AT&T).

Does anyone else have their phone still on "Processing Items"?
 
The one I bought at 3:18 Eastern is still in process, the other identical 16GB black ATT phone with applecare I bought at 3:25 is ready to ship. Neither in the UPS system. Both have CSS updates, but like 6 hours apart.

I noticed the order number on the fist phone is much higher than the second phone... anyone been following correlation to order number and other activity? :)

This is fun.
 
UPS could not locate my shipment using tracking by reference (phone number or order number) until 2 minutes ago when my order finally showed up in their tracking system. It shows the same time stamps as the others have.

Mine is still on "Processing Items". They didnt have Applecare+ initially added. So, I called and they added. Now, they added one more Applecare+. Again. I dont know how they could add two Applecare+. On call to get one of them removed. I have a feeling that if this going back and forth with Apple continues, I may not be able to get in on time as they are still adding things due to whatever confusion. Getting impatient now.

I can see one of my Iphone on UPS system now..

Second may come tomorrow as it went to preparing to ship last night.. about 15 hrs ago..
 
My 64 gig black, order email at 3:25am eastern from the Apple Store App, shows preparing for shipment and shows up in UPS. The 32 gig black I ordered for my wife, same Apple Store App with a confirmation at 3:29, is still at Processing.

Seems like most of the shipped people here have 64 gig. Wonder if there is something to capacity and color?
 
For anyone in the "AVAILABLE TO SHIP - 2 WEEKS; DELIVERY BY OCT 5TH" bracket, has your card/account been charged yet? Mine hasn't and I ordered on the 14th around 12:45PM EST
 
Since all of these phones have shipped, shouldn't you all be receiving shipped emails from Apple? I can't pull up anything for mine, so I guess it hasn't shipped yet. Does Apple send out shipping emails and tracking numbers?

My confirmation is at 3:54am EST. My card was charged with in a few hours of that. But I'm still in "processing purgatory". Btw, did your order page show you 9/21 then switch you to "2 weeks" in the confirmation email and status page? That's what happened to me.
 
yay mines also shipped already. Can't wait. just need a temporary case until the Element case for the iphone 5 drops

No emails from Apple yet. Their is such a high volume of phones being processed that we probably won't see the first Shipped Notifications from Apple until late today,but probably sometime tomorrow. At this point UPS is going to have the most updated information.
 
For those tracking with UPS, if you have a UPS.com account or want to make one, if you sign in and then track the phone, it will show you all of the reference numbers for the package. They will include the Apple internal sales IDs, your home phone, and the Web order number INCLUDING the W.

I will start posting flight information soon, so you guys can track the flight(s) your phones are on based on your tracking information :D
 
i Just looked up my tracking info on ups, and it says that it is shipped by UPS worldwide express. I read the details on that and it says that its guaranteed to be at your door between 10:30am-12:00pm eastern time. Im so happy i was thinking i probably wasn't going to get it until late afternoon.

Ordered via Apple store app, confirmation at 12:20 AM PST - Black 32GB Black AT&T
Delivers 9/21 - standard shipping showing on status page.

Current Status: "Processing Items"

Called Apple now to add AppleCare+ and the rep said it's still scheduled to leave the warehouse on Friday. Not sure what that means, or if she knew what she was talking about, but maybe it's coming from a stateside warehouse? lol

No UPS or FedEx info, & not showing up under my registered Apple products yet...
 
Woah just noticed something - on the UPS site, once I logged in (like I said above) and saw the reference #s, it looks like they are using the reference numbers MINUS the last 2 numbers. This likely is how they are helping to track which packages from what order are bulked.

However, try your Web Order # WITHOUT the last two numbers. :)
