How long would you guys say is the time gap between your status being marked as "Preparing for Shipment" and being able to track it via reference number on ups.com?

Mine moved to "Preparing for Shipment" sometime mid-day yesterday.

Mine has been at "preparing for shipment" since saturday afternoon and still not on support profile or UPS.

to avoid madness, i would go anywhere but apple/att on launch - best buy? target? they are super nice at target in the mobile dept - tell them it's for your mom, be nice and see what they can do! you will need all of you mom's info with you....

On apple.com mine still says preparing for shipment but I am still able to track it on ups from my mobile number as the reference with a delivery date of 9/21. I'm guessing that I just happen to look before apple posted it or sent me the shipping email.

Finally!

My AT&T 16gb Black/Slate iP5, finally showing up on UPS.com, show Friday delivery. Lest Nashville, TN yesterday at 4pm......never takes 4 days to deliver to TX, but they may hold it until Friday.😉
 
Well whoevers phone I am tracking (found with my order number but has a different destination) has left hong kong too! wooo congrats!! 😀

Has anyone else not been charged yet?

I pre-ordered on the 14th, still processing (not surprised about that, I'm in the Oct 5th delivery group), but I haven't had my card charged yet. Not a huge deal, just wondering if anyone else is in the same situation

Seeing this makes me feel better. I haven't changed any shipping info. Who knows all long as it comes friday who cares.

Mine is pending.. when I log on to my bank online it recognizes it will get charged but no money has been taken yet... When I talked to an Apple rep they said they don't charge until it has shipped
