When jobs was with us, apple had been company producing premium, unique and niche products. Selling at the highest proce tags. Now, they want to integrate into third world thus sacrificing quality and being the unique, rebellious boy of the sector.
I want the old apple to be back.
It could happen as they did with the iPad mini, but my guess is that they would do the same they did with the iPhone 5, increase height but not width in which case all apps must be updated once again like it happened with the 4' screen.
I love the idea of a lager iPhone![]()
It's not 2007. Has Apple looked out of their ivory tower lately? There are lots of beautiful form factors in the wild. People are buying them. People enjoy them. Why oh why would you just sit on your hands and let market share walk away from your company. WHY?
As a heavy Apple user, I am going to say this: "Steve Jobs was stubborn and had his way of doing things. Tim Cook needs to worry about his job and make the company profitable so he will do what it takes to capture more market for more profit."
We don't prefer smaller screens, we prefer small devices that fit in your hand and pockets.
Low cost on contract. Analysts seem to think that Apple needs to make an under $200 full price phone.
New meaning to drunk dialing

Because its not their style to try to please everyone and every little demand.
If that is an issue for anyone vote with your wallet and buy something else.

Or he won't. Because grabbing more market share and doing what it takes to pander to that goal doesn't always lead to more profit

Why does everyone say this...I have had every model of Iphone plus a SG3 with the supposed too large of a screen to fit in your pants pocket but its not. The SG3 actually fit better because it was large enough not to turn sideways in my rear pocket. Please stop saying a 4.7 screen is too big due to pocketability.
My friend, have you ever heard of something called sense of humor? Or sarcasm perhaps? I merely used a famous quote to joke about this situation, but maybe you are a type of person who can't take a joke or even know what sense of humor is.
Don't be so serious![]()
Ridiculous screen sizes for a phone, 4.2 inch is the maximum size for been able to comfortable carry a phone in your trouser pocket in my opinion.
5.7 inch screen lol, I want to carry a phone around with me not a tablet.
and your opinion is perfect for you but the rest of the millions of people have opinions too and wanting something larger than 4.2 is'nt ridiculous to them...and they are just as right as you are. if the SG3 had IOS I would have stayed with it as I dont feel the need to customize my OS. I'm a big fan of options and I wouldnt mind apple having 5 or 6 diff screen sizes, now thats not gonna happen but if it did I wouldnt be mad like some of these posters are.
And? Just because there turned out to be a market for smaller tablets doesn't equal a market for bigger phones.
The thing is though. If Apple were to do larger/various screen sizes in the near future, it would be a nightmare for the developers I would think. There could be perhaps certain apps that would be for the 5.7 inch iPhone, and some of the older apps might not get updated for the larger screens, which would lead to fragmentation.
the iPhone 5S will add a gold model in addition to the traditional black and white models.

Because I still make a few calls a day. Apple needs to get more options out, phone use can be very different
It's hard to imagine Apple backing down over its long standing claim that the current size is perfect.
