So would people rather Apple released a buggy product? For all the people complaining about these...why then do you care that they're delayed? You won't be buying them anyway.

I'll say it again ... totally botched the removal of the headphone jack. Essential transition technology should have been ready day one, not a month and half later, and now with no ETA at all ... really inexcusable, especially considering how much time they've known this was going to happen. Probably won't affect sales of the iPhone 7 substantially, but really poor form considering all the other compromises customers who made use of the headphone jack have made since upgrading to the iPhone 7.

Interesting point of view, although I haven't had a single issue yet with the removal of the headphone jack. I have my Bluetooth earphones for when I need to charge my phone while listening to music... I have the lightning-cable earphones that came with my iPhone 7 for when I don't have to worry about battery life, and I have the included/free dongle for when I'm in the car.

Seems like a non-issue to me.

Once again, such overpaid execs and such piss-poor performance. About time they quit en masse to let younger, more competent individuals take over. American execs always get so OTT agressive over underperformance, except when it applies to themselves.
What does age have to do with performance?

You know what? I just checked out the new surface releases just looking at the images of the surface book and the new desktop, they are actually beautiful machines...honestly this MacBook pro may be my last if things keep progressing the way they do. That 2300.00 surface book looks baller.

I'm not sure what this has to do with airpods.

Microsoft didn't drop anything, their stuff still runs on the same crappy operating system. Hardware doesn't mean crap, if software is garbage.

Uninformed, Uneducated, and Regurgitated. Maybe you should actually TRY Windows 10...lots has changed since you were using Windows Vista.

Let me make it easy, Windows 10 is by all accounts, a very good Windows OS. Better than 7. But if you wanted a tit-for-tat, I can list off all sorts of crappy things wrong with OSX (or macOS or whatever they're calling it today).

Actually, I've heard from a couple sources that issues at Apple stem from younger millennial who are too complacent and who don't have the same drive as the older employees who've been with the company for years. The more older employees leave, the less innovation there is.

I'm wondering if this has to do with bluetooth issues. My iPhone Plus 7 has issues with drop out while using bluetooth and doing anything (Facebook, Safari, flipping through the home screens, etc) while listening to music in the background. My car and my Bose QC35 experience this. Its almost as if there's a CPU issue with something (bluetooth driver?) that is maxing out and dropping the BT stream. The song position is not affected - it seems to move on as if nothing has happened. Was hoping 10.1 would fix this, but evidently not... Is it related to the new wireless chipset in the new phones?

Didn't you just say "that's what I get for buying cheap earbuds" a few posts up? Yet $149 ones are ****? :)

Also the part where -- I didn't have this issue w/the exact same 2 prs of earbuds on iOS9?
Yeah I was referring to your ****** 25$ headphones. And yes the $149 jaybirds are ****, just because they are priced high, doesn't mean it's good quality. Are you that easily fooled or something? I think they shouldn't even be priced that high. Don't comment something retarded back to me.

I think they seriously underestimated demand and are trying to avoid shortages.

I assume these will eventually come in a range of colors, but in the meantime, the first thing I want to do with mine is figure out how to very carefully paint them black or gray or beige or something. It has to stick, yet be a thin coat, and not block any tiny holes or give the ear a rash. A sharpie? Nail polish?

Not terribly surprised because they sounded too good to be true.

I had only a few days left for the promotional rate on my apple credit card to order these but now that they've pushed them back and I won't be able to get them on that card, I will be skipping them and going for another brand.

Really wish they would have given us this news before the time they were supposed to launch.

I was actually hoping to give them to someone for a birthday gift, that's not happening.
