Our Queen is dead God save the King. Very sad, I shed a few tears, a wonderful women who performed her duties till the very end, irreplaceable I’m my mind. Did so much for this world and met so many people good and bad.

I see some people here posting the same questionable reactions time and time again on this thread, but I'm not going to get embroiled into any he said she said, all it comes down to is this, royalist or not it's about respect which more and more in this world is seemingly being lost.

To those people celebrating Her Majesty’s death in here, you are like those Chinese who celebrate Shinzo Abe’s death. Disrespectful and arrogant. Can’t even hold the “joy” or “excitement” for a day or two before we start to discuss what Queen Elizabeth II did right or wrong. Yes, she’s not perfect. So what? You can ignore the news and pretend like nothing happens.

You don’t need to be a ‘royalist’ to respect this persons life. The significance of her passing is truly profound given that she has represented our nation’s values since becoming Queen aged just 21. Let that sink in. Think back to what we were all doing at that age, we probably were not mature enough to do many things we take for granted now.
She achieved so much, from helping people through the Covid-19 pandemic to helping the Good Friday agreement go through. She has represented us in her own way and had the incredible achievement of having that responsibility for virtually all our lifetime. Very sad day day but may she rest in peace.
Also, good work Apple - your British employees and customers will be grateful. And very sad to see the usual snarky, sarcastic, disrespectful comments here from people hiding behind their keyboards. Real shame.

While it’s sad, it’s equally sad when anyone dies. I’m not sure why Apple are honouring the Queen when they wouldn’t any other head of state. She wasn’t one of the ‘crazy ones’, one of the rebels who changed the world, so their pandering seems odd.

Given the recent revelations about Andrew and the treatment of Meghan Markle , there’s nothing special about these Windsors. I find the brown-nosing nauseating.
On the other hand, most of us have only known Elizabeth as the British head of state , so yes indeed it is the end of an era. A perfect opportunity to end the system of monarchy if you ask me.
I feel for Elizabeth as I would for any human. Losing her life long partner / husband , at least she is with him again.

She was an incredible person. Before anyone here besmirches her name or position, maybe do some research. She worked to further our nation and the commonwealth her entire life, ushering in a new prime minister two days before her death at 96.

Indeed , there must have been some invisible hand holding with Prince Philip yesterday when we were told her condition was under supervision , which translated to she was “slipping away” . Sleep tight Lilibet grand old girl 👑
I am not a royalist but as a brit it is really weird to not have the Queen. When you think of Britain you think of the Queen. She was a symbol of this country and no matter what was happening she was a constant. Britain will never have a monarch like her again.

Of course it's about her. She has been the mainstay and constant of the United Kingdom for the last 70 years. I'm sure you'd have a much happier time in North Korea, with your access to free healthcare, food as you please and Apple products.
