I don't , I take it as a fast lens, maybe f1.6 that bokeh is creeeeeeamyI though it meant something else... The only way to take that photo is manual focus, therefore maybe we could see manual focus, and maybe even manual aperture, shutter speed. But at the very least, an upgrade to the camera.
This is a honest question to everybody on this forum and not meant to troll, nor defend Apple:
What would your reaction be if Mr. Cook, or Ive, or the lady that manages all things environmental at Apple explains at this upcoming keynote that the design upgrade cycle will be taking longer because of Apple's new policies regarding recycling and not taking away more natural resources than what they are already taking? That they rather upgrade internals and prefer to use re-processed packagings, device casings, already tried/proven and working production lines, so they can keep up responsible production of iDevices? Same design for maybe... 5 or 6 years? Upgraded and up-to-date internals every year. What's your stance on that? Would you think it's greedy on their part, or a responsible commitment? Would you rather see them as a separate "Recycled Line" of products (not remanufactured, but a line completely focused on environmental issues and recycling.)
Is it worth it? Credible, even? Do you think Apple might/should be heading that way?
Edit 2:
Not sure if anyone else has said this (Ok, just browsed around and some others mentioned it but it's a good point everyone), but as I was just replying to someone else it hit me: Bokeh. The dual camera system. This was one of the rumored applications—making a "dSLR-like" image, which to me, as a photographer, says "Make the background pop with blur!" Maybe they're teasing at their breakthrough camera hardware and software technology?
You think Apple released their invite unintentionally? Or am I not getting something?
I read that as "whipping on Cue" and I was like, boy, that's harsh. But I think Apple have a great opportunity here. Cue comes out on stage ripped like a professional swimmer and announces it's all because of Apple Watch.
Introducing: myself. I switched from a Sony Ericsson to an iPhone because the iPhone had a 3.5mm jack and I could use any headphones I wanted, not just the terrible earbuds with a proprietary connector Sony put in the box. I now own one pair of Bluetooth headphones for the gym – they cost twice as much as my (ha) wired Sony buds and they sound terrible in comparison, but gym is one place where I like having loads of bass and the convenience of no wires. I own six or so pairs of wired headphones, ranging from those Sony earbuds to semi-pro studio ones.
*fiddles with his S7 which is water-resistant AND has a 3.5mm jack*
It's telling us that Apple is losing their focus.
I'll be here all week.
Black background, Space black iPhone confirmed.

Thank, jerk! You made me laugh out loud in the middle of a meeting I was supposed to be paying attention to.It's telling us that Apple is losing their focus.

Has Sony confirmed that date or is that a rumor?
If the iPhone 7 doesn't have a higher pixel density display and a better camera, I'm gone. Just look at the display on the galaxy note 7. It's worlds ahead of the iPhone display which has been the same pixel density since 2010.
I've had an iPhone since 2008 and currently have the '6'. Every time I use a Galaxy S 6 or 7, and then go back to my iPhone, the display is just a disappointment.
Apple used to be the company adding new features years ahead of its time. Now it's playing catchup to the Koreans.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned this as a possibility yet...
"See you on the 7th", could that mean that the the iPhone 7 will be looking at "you" via facial/retina recognition.
Yes, the bokeh images likely mean new camera technology, but doesn't something about the wording seem a little too deliberate? If we're going to have fun analyzing the invite, let's not stop at the blurry dots.
So why the big event hall just for iPhone and Watch? I'd be surprised if Apple had a Mac only event in October so my guess is no event and just a press release. But then that makes me think we're getting spec bumps and not redesigns. It's rare that Apple redesigns a product and doesn't show it off on stage.According to Bloomberg (Mark Gurman) new Mac Hardware comes in October.
