Took me a while to realize the oversized dots make out the top of the Apple logo, how spiffy.

Out of focus, dots.. it sure looks spell out "photography" to me, perhaps that's an angle they're going to reinforce for the new iPhone (again)?

"And today, we unveil the next generation iPhone, complete without a useful audio jack that millions billions love and enjoy!"

They cried when Apple removed the floppy drive from computers.

They cried when Apple removed the CD/DVD-ROM from computers.

They cried when Apple removed the physical keyboard from phones.

They cried when Apple removed the Dock Connector from devices.

Somehow, it all worked out for the better, despite what those that did the crying claimed at the time claimed would be the end.

I wonder why anyone not making love to their Apple hardware, would attend of live-stream-view this event....
Oh I almost forgot, perhaps they wear new fancy-colored shirts this time..

Not the same thing. There is no technology available that makes the 3.5" irrelevant. Bluetooth is not ready yet.

The fan theories about the graphic are always my favorite part about this every year. People, Apple is not telling you about the iPhone 18SE Pro Plus 10 years in advance by embedding a message hidden in every other letter of the text in this invite for the iPhone 7 event next week.

It's an invite. Literally just an invite.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's an apple logo, blurred out. I like it, its kinda artsy an obscure, which is all they need for an invitation.

of course it will. Lunching an already outdated hardware well behind the competition.

If they dont announce the update Mac Book Pro then the day will be disastrous but EXPLAIN why Cook is selling his Apple Shares....

In 10 Years, perhaps they draw back Forstall after Bill Gates saves Apple once again.....

The past proves it.... Once Jobs left, Apple died. Then they got him back and Apple flourished. Unfortunately for everyone Steve is not in the position to ever return and this time it will NOT flourish, unless the find a new one... I'd say that Scully which had no clue about nothing would have been able to perform better with the legacy Steve left Cook, than Cook who is more like a Book Keeper !

You make it clear that you have no idea how executive stock sales work. There are only certain times where CEOs can cash in their stock options. They can't simply cash out whenever they like or if they know something is about to happen.

Considering Tim Cook is worth over $800 million, cashing out just $35 million would be stupid if things were going to crash as you seem to believe.

Have you looked at what Apple stock has done since Steve passed away? That line represents the time Steve passed away in Oct 2011. Since then not only has Apple stock continued to rise but they've also split. That means all of us that owned stock before that point have now made even more money. You don't get to that point by just being a book keeper as you claim.

But please, continue to bless us with your wonderfully incorrect and uninformed insight.

We all got something better in return. What's the benefit of Lightning headphones exactly?

This picture tells us the new iPhone will shoot unapologetically beautiful and always blurred images (due to the technical issues in the dual camera module). No filters required, no expensive Photoshop. Just point and shoot.
iPhone 6SBE (6S Blur Edition).

Also we can see the new ugly systemwide iOS font. Not Verdana yet, but close.

I agree with others that the next iteration will likely be the iPhone 7, but I disagree with those thinking the 6SE is just a hoax. I believe Apple will simply add to their discount line of iPhones with the 6SE.

It will 100% be the 7 announced on the 7th. The SE will come later as it has with other iPhone models. They don't want to announce the SE at this point as it would eat into the higher priced sales of the normal models. Silly to cut into your higher priced device sales right now when you can announce it at a later time and get another bump in sales at that point.

If the iPhone 7 doesn't have a higher pixel density display

Geez, seriously people. The current resolution already IS higher than your eyes/brain can resolve...it's only in your head.

Man I wish people would stop asking for/expecting 'useless' innovations which they think are innovations but really are only number games on paper and instead start asking for REAL progress...

Yeah, being able to make little sketches with the Apple Pencil while out and about would be pretty handy. You'd think it wouldn't be that difficult to implement and would push more sales of the Pencil and get people to buy an iPad Pro for the full experience once they see how well it works.

The other day I've seen a kid at the store use the pencil not as a pencil but as a stylus...that is exactly what Steve Jobs did NOT want. I hope (really do hope) this will never gonna happen and will never come to iPhone ...
