Well I hope that they have one at my local Apple Store in Arden fair tomarrow, since I am going there and I would love to play around with an iPhone, if there is and we don't have any pics of the displays yet I'll try to get some up.

Arden Fair! I'm going there tomorrow as well! Maybe we'll see each other

That´s the new 42 inch brushed aluminum iMac!!!!:D :D

One more thing...

As I was leaving an Apple Store this evening at closing time, the Apple employee invited us back tomorrow (Friday) saying that they would have more information on the iPhone at that time.

Let's hope it's monthly plan time. I'd like to see what number gave Verizon so much trouble that they passed on the iPhone. Oh well, their loss.

I'm sure the plans will be suitably arm-twistingly reasonable. The only real question to be answered (for Apple share holders at least) is just how much money kicks back to Apple Inc. from each month's Att subscriber's phone bill.

You gotta love the position Apple's in on this one folks...

Apple ][ Forever! (1980s Apple Computer marketing slogan, by the way)

on another note, I just thought I would point out that there are almost 40 Apple stores in California. Some states have only 4 :p

ALSO: did you know that there is also about two SteveNotes in California. That's almost three times the national average or 0.

It wasn't [just] the phone plan that gave Verizon trouble, it was things like changing their whole network to allow for Visual Voicemail and better coverage. In my neighbor there has been a LOT of activity with AT&T upgrading and testing the network (everyday for the past couple of weeks I've been seeing an AT&T van with an AT&T supervisor car following behind and making periodic stops within Pasadena!)

Yep, I work 3 blocks away from the Pasadena store and a couple of miles from the Glendale store. There should be iPhones-a-plenty come June 29th!

If the per-store rumors are true, there should be about 1800 iPhones within 20 miles :p

Just a little correction three times 0 would still be zero.;)
And Steve lives in California.:D
I know that ;) Thanks for getting all mathematical about a purely un-mathematical pun.

Hmmm, come to think of it, I hope that's enough. There's always a huge line in front of the Pasadena Apple store for any new release.

By the way, based on what I had read from some post somewhere here on this site, I scheduled an in-store personal shopping experience for between 5:00pm and 6:00pm on June 29th through the Apple web site... they called me yesterday to cancel this appointment due to the "special event". :(

heh, apple stores are always packed. the one in a mall nearby is always full, even in the morning, right when it opens. all of the other stores in the mall are empty, and the apple store will be full, lol. It's a great store, though, especially the 5th avenue one (which I was lucky enough to see).

haha. same here. the apple store is usually very packed. even like, right before closing on sunday

From the new images it looks like it is in the front window and there is a power cord. This is going to be a great display.

I've always loved Apple's front window area.

enough with these stupid iphone stories. make them page 2 or something.

enough with these stupid iphone stories. make them page 2 or something.

page two contains "Uncertain news and links." These images are NOT uncertain and thus belong on the frontpage, right where arn has placed the. Also, the iPhone section of the fourms has twice the amount of people as any other area most of the time. CLEARLY people want to know the latest information!

Looks like it could be a (fully functional) iPhone after all!
Ahh, I hope the Vegas Apple Store does this; I'd be there in a heartbeat!

I'm sure it'll be fully functional

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that since the release of Zune, Apple's products just seem a little second rate? ;)

Here are some photo's of the iPhone display in motion, sorry for the bars in the way. I will try to get some better pictures tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Here they are (click on the links):
