not an iPad?

Either the hand is photoshopped, or it seems too small to me. Not just relative to the icon. The bezel looks extremely wide when compared to an iPad/iPad 2 bezel. I guess we're looking at a different device (maybe a TV?) and they're fooling us into believing it's an iPad.

So if this is true we can only guess the iPhone 5 will have no home button either, bigger screen?

Hope iPhone 5 will be an organic chip embedded in my eye Dead Space style. Sweet:D

I wasnt even going to buy the new one this year, but I saw this article and got weak. Just listed my iPad 2on ebay. That screen is beautiful and the thaought of having a quad core device(hopefully true but not holding breath) sounds better than sex.

It's not better than quad sex.

Unless Apple makes an iPad capable of competing with this, Graphic Designers are not going to be throwing away their Wacoms and replacing them with iPads. As great as the iPad is, there are a few aspects where the wacom is still vastly superior, the ability to work with a pen and pen pressure being the most glaring.

If Apple wants to make a professional iPad that addresses this, then I'd be more than happy to see them do so, but until then the iPad is still almost completely aimed at consumers. Pros likely use them, but they use them in addition to a wacom tablet.

the high end tablets costs more than ipad and u need laptop or desktop to use them, get use to the interface and other inconveniences, clearly tablet computing in this regards is the future, it is just now we can expect evolution & maturity of these kinds of devices

the lower end wacoms are not for pros

The home button is the one button that can't be touch. You have to be able to activate it quickly and even if you're wearing gloves.

I don't believe it until I see the rest of the image (the part that was clearly cropped out).

That is irrelevant because even if you activate the home button you can't do anything else with gloves on.

very true and more so i m always interested in seeing updates to imac line up, every investment is worth and people who bought imac never regret what they paid for, apple means value

Yeah you guys are right. My manning up was buying the iMac and iPad 2 this January lol so it's def too soon to upgrade again. Although I am still super excited anytime something new is announced!

Oh, this thing is just SO bought; credit card at the ready....! It's gonna be so lush...!!!

def there ll be some highlights to their upcoming os too in both ios and os x worlds

The home button is obviously located on the back, as part of the secondary capacitive touchpanel. The stereo speakers, mini-subwoofer, and SD Card slot are there as well.

Wouldn't getting rid of the Home button mean that the capacitive touch-screen needs to be on all the time? Surely that would be an unnecessary battery drain; for very little benefit.

Long screen but not bigger proportionally if they keep the same dimensions of the current phone.

Must feel amazing to have a company with a product so amazing that people are literally begging you to sell it to them, and have absolutely no problems shelling out $700+ for it without second thoughts.

To me it's not really $700. Apple products hold their value pretty well so I can always sell it back when a new product I like comes out
