They didn't really make us wait. I mean I chose to wait because I prefer iOS to Android, but my current iPhone is still running fine so I wasn't compelled to jump ship over a few months. A lot of people do feel like they were screwed into waiting but I don't get why. Apple sets expectations, but they never said "yeah we're totally gonna put a new phone out every summer" or anything like that.

I just wanna get this over with.

Very creative thoughts behind the hidden meaning. Loved the Dan Brown book cover as well. Nicely done one and all.
C'mon next Tuesday, when all will be reavealed to the masses.

Honestly the disparity is night and day with android forums. I've frequented many just to get news, and I've never once seen an Apple user register there to insult Android.

It's because iPhone users care about their iPhone news and don't pay as much attention to android since they already have the superior product :p

I hope its worth the wait!

Now I love my iPhone as much as the next guy, and I am well invested into the iOS ecosystem as far as app purchases go. However, the ability to talk to my phone is not getting me excited. Lets be realistic folks, Android could do this for years now? What I really want is a bigger screen, or at least the option to have one. Also LTE for Verizon is incredible(at least in my area), and naturally I want it for my iPhone. Its all about speed and size for me(I know this does not apply to all), battery life is not an issue. I can plug my phone in almost anywhere at anytime. I just think if Apple doesn't put these types of features into their phones Android is going to have a big advantage for at least a year.

But who am I to say?..I'm just a fan...so prove me wrong Apple...Prove me wrong!

1 phone to rule them all

Predictions. 10 million sold in 30 days, 35 million in 90 days.

Current quarter net-income: $8.5 billion. 5.2 million Macs, 11 million iPads, 29 million iPhones.

Say whatever you want about Android, Google Navigation is the best navigation product on the market for smartphones. It has been the one thing that Apple has really failed to even compete with on any level. Hopefully they'll remedy that soon.

Cannot agree more. This has been my only complaint after 1 year of having my iPhone 4. My wife has a Droid II and we'll always use that for navigation when we're together. IMHO, if Apple fixes this with iOS 5/the new iPhone it will be the perfect phone.

I think it's fairly clear that if we're less than a week away from a release and there hasn't been any 'leaked' images of an iPhone 5, then we're not getting one. Especially since they already have to talk about the final versions of iCloud and iOS5, which they could spend on hour on each I bet

I'm very excited to see what they reveal.

If the new iPhone is a dramatic redesign, I'll probably upgrade. If its an "iPhone 4S" I think I'll stick with my iPhone 4 for now.

Either way, I can't wait to see it and I can't wait for iOS 5.

Thank god. The rumors can finally stop!

(BTW, my guess, the "1" means a single combined multi-carrier iphone -- no separate CDMA or GSM versions.)

Hummm... didn't think of that. I saw it as only one phone being introduced. But what you say makes since too.

Can't wait!
