Has anyone notice that with each passing day the Apple rumors had become more and more accurate, meaning that indeed apple has stop being that much innovative anymore because we all know what comes next, example when the first retina screen came out (iPhone 4) we were all just waiting for the Mac Retina and now we are just waiting on the iMac Retinta, on the iPhone we all know the drill now 4<4s (new Design)5<5s (new Design)6<6s, we were waiting on the cheap iPhone for 3 years and think about it, apple wants to get rid of all 3.5 screens and 30 pin connectors so this iphone 5C fall in perfectly for that strategy, and the new Mac Pro (apple can´t innovate anymore my ass?) what´s so innovative about a new round design? i mean I know it´s gonna look cool and all that but on the inside they owed to all of us better newer internals, after all it´s technology and it get better by the day (that´s why they launch the Iphone S every year), IDK but i think apple has got to impress us all again, but mean like iPhone-impress us or like when the the first iPad came out.

No need to be a smart ass. Some aren't as capable as you to put the dots together.

And some people(apparently you)don't read a thread before posting their amazing insight that's been posted 20 times.

It will take you to a YouTube video. Your hint is that "youtube.com" is in the URL. If you visit the URL within your browser, you will find the information you are looking for. I understand that this may seem like a lot of work for you, but in the end, it's less work that whining about it.

I skipped it too,for the same reason.I didn't whine though.

why every one think that the " 5c " is the cheap iPhone ?

what IF all those pic is for the NEW iPhone !!!!

You are joking for the Mac Pro, right?
I mean, there's still a lot of questions left to be answered about it, and we have yet to see cost, real-life performance and real-life expandability, but to me there seems to be a spoonful of innovation in it; new thermal core (which explains the new round design), dual GPU... Plus they are betting big on thunderbolt expandability, which, if anything, is ballsy.

Now I don't pretend to be a connoisseur, but that seems at least a little bit innovative (plus it's things we didn't predict before the reveal)

Multi-colored circles and the phrase, "This should BRIGHTEN EVERYONE's day." Here's my guess for what it all means. Circles for the home button fingerprint sensor, multiple colors for the multiple color options coming to iPhone 5 and a rumored "iPhone 5C" (a cheaper version), i.e. the iPhone for "everyone," and a dual LED flash the will "brighten" everyone's nighttime photos/help achieve better white balance in varying lighting conditions... Just guesses, but we'll know in a week if I was right.

I'm not arguing that those things don't mean anything, but they are definitely not so important as to cause many customers to switch or to consider other platforms. Whether Apple is behind the market depends on your point of view. To many the functions that you describe are not important at all. The screen is large enough and the camera is excellent. Not everyone needs a Galaxy note with a 24 MP camera.

If you say so, not everyone needs a iPhone or iPad for gods sake.

I think you mean they've stopped "keeping their innovations secret." A company can absolutely innovate even if we have a good idea of what's coming.

1) No, this thread has a point, and it's to let the rest of MacRumors know that an invitation has been sent out for an Apple event to be held on the 10th. I really don't know what more to say about this, the invitation says nothing about an iPhone, nor has Apple confirmed any new iPhone. To immediately jump the gun and pick a part a product that hasn't even been announced is a little high and mighty, don't you think?

2) Doesn't matter if they're different than each other, my point is that they are all iPod's, meaning part of the same family of products. If the rumours and speculation of a 5S and 5C are true, then we have two iPhones in the same family and both serve different purposes. Also, I fail to see how any of the rumoured features/changes of the so called, 5C, could be seen as going backwards?

3) Color improves a product line too, depending on who's looking. To include any rumoured features/changes with the rumoured "5C", increased color choices, cheaper price, and a more playful build style are all improvements if that is what you're looking for. There are millions upon millions of people who would prefer this type of iPhone.

Very good.I would amplify your point about product families.
Computers,iPads,iPods all have multiple models for different uses/tastes/budgets.The iPhone is alone in offering only the latest model, and one and two year old models, respectively.
By some people's logic Apple should only offer the iPad full size,The iPod Touch(and maybe the classic),and the Mac Pro.
Hey-it's the exact same BS logic from the elitist "it will cheapen the brand"Bozos,Yet they are fine with Mac and iPad Minis, and iPod shuffles.
The question is,what makes phones so freaking special that you can't offer more than one model with reasonably up-to -date internals?
(Not to mention the whole screen size/lightening connector issue).

I was talking in general with this statement not just about this particular event. And you did clear things up. You say people think speculation (if from someone with a good track record) is confirmed fact. Good track record or not, it's still speculation and not confirmed fact. So you just agreed with my original general statement.

Glad to see you're on the same page as I am.

Actually it was confirmed a long time ago.

Unless they go for a "oh, and there's one more thing" moment, I can't see them announcing anything on the iWatch.

They'd use a much better tagline for the event for that.

"It's about time"

or

"Watch this space"

or something incredibly obvious.

My day is already nice and bright. The invitations will only be additional news items.

So what do you exactly want?

A bigger screen...oooo that is game changing.

We're getting the NFC and Fingerprint scanner. That is pretty big and something the other phones out there don't have/or that work properly.

There is only so much you can do with the mobile phone now..without it morphing into a new product...like the iWatch.

In terms of the iPod, you are looking at it's life from 2001 to about 2009 when people started moving away from it to the iPhone. Sure they are still making it, but most now have just an iPhone and no iPod at all.

You'll probably see the same thing with the phone as we move away from it and to some new form of communication device.

I'm just saying, complaining about nothing new is like complaining about cars. They do the same thing every year with pretty much the same features and a new design every 5-6 years.

A lot of people are going to have to come to terms with the idea of smart phones as a mature product.Like computers, the huge amazing jumps will be fewer and farther between.

I just feel that with 2 iPhone models there should be a difference in screen size. 5c and 5s both have 4" screens is kinda ridiculous IMHO. Yes internals are different but consumers really pay attention to physical traits. Keep the 5c at 4 and put the 5s somewhere around 4.3-4.7. That way there is a big reason to get the more upscale 5s. I know apple can make a bigger phone, yet still be the size of a phone, not a phablet.

In all honesty though if a 5s would just improve battery life significantly (+25%) that alone I think would please more than a scanner

There's quite some chatter on the inter webs about Apple possibly holding back on same major new features in the iOS GM. As mentioned, 5C's are already assembled and on US Soil, although Apple has not released a GM to devs. With the talk of slomo camera features, finger print scanning software, etc. this theory is pretty much validated.

The latest conspiracy is Apple may be changing App Icons to circles. Whispers that the grey circles could be the new home button image, and all app icons become circles to match. Macrumors did mention this in an article ran a few months ago (anyone wanna dig that one up?) I attached a picture for some further explanation.

Think, Circle app icons sure would be interesting. Dial screen, Lock screen, and Safari/iTunes/App Store icons all lend credence to the conspiracy theory. Also, for Apple's new icon design template, the geometry sure is circular.

Now before you throw this out the window and damn me in future posts, just give it some thought. Apple has a GM (on the 5C) but not publicly available to devs - yet. There's always those tidbits that are saved until the hardware release, I don't think we will see one until the 10th after everything is announced. There is definitely features we do not know about, and aren't supposed to know until September 10th.

So.....?????

Next week: iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, and iOS 7, iTunes Radio, possibly some other iTunes/iPod announcements/updates.

October Event: iOS 7 for iPad, iPad Mini, iPad 5, Retina MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, iMac, Mac Mini, Mavericks, new Final Cut.

That October event seems really really packed!!!

and where does Apple TV fit into this

... and the new Mac Pro (apple can´t innovate anymore my ass?) what´s so innovative about a new round design?
My understanding is this. Up until now Mac Pros had dual-cpu and single-gfx, from now on they will have single-cpu and dual-gfx. This is an very important design change, because while cpu-chips need to do all kinds of different computations reasonably fast, gfx-chips are specialized for some specific highly parallelizable computing tasks. The programming language OpenCL allows to write programs which make use of all the raw computing power in modern gfx-chips. The new Mac Pro with dual graphics will be the first computer to be optimized for OpenCL programs.
