Um.... I don't know if that's true. Maybe I am wrong, but I have some music that I created when I was younger, and if I go solely to Apple Music, I think i will likely lose access to them because they aren't in the public arena, nor published on iTunes.
I'm not 100% but fairly confident.
It’s in iOS 13, replacing “Dislike,” which is still present in Music in macOS Catalina.I see the web version has the option to “suggest less like this”; I’ve never seen that option in the Mac OS or iOS versions. Nice!
What? I can access a couple albums that I have that aren’t on Apple Music or iTunes just fine. It’s survived multiple macOS reinstalls (from scratch) and new phones. Not completely. If you have music that is not on Apple Music you can't access it remotely. I have a number of older and obscure albums, and if I gave up Match those would not be available to me except on the main machine that hosts my library.
This is literally the only thing Spotify has that Apple Music was missing.
Not nearly enough to make me think about switching, though, I have to wonder about all those that claimed this was a dealbreaker to not using Apple Music.
Look at PlexI wish I could access my iTunes Match library on the web without an Apple Music subscription.
Oh Apple Music is missing a lot more than just a web interface, lol. Decent algorithms for one...

Probably never. It’s a free service for Apple devices where as Apple Music isn’t.When are they going to launch imessage on the web?
There’s no reason TO have both. All of Match’s features are supported in Apple Music.
Are you sure? I thought the point of Match was to have all of your music available on any device, including music not available on Apple Music. Much of my library consists of classical music not available on Apple Music. Don’t I need both?
From Apple's support website:Are you sure? I thought the point of Match was to have all of your music available on any device, including music not available on Apple Music. Much of my library consists of classical music not available on Apple Music. Don’t I need both?
Be careful though. iTunes Match uploads your content DRM free, Apple Music does not. If you don‘t care about DRM then yes, you are paying too much for the same experience.Hey, read through the first couple of pages of comments regarding iTunes Match. It seems that we are paying for iTunes Match for nothing, as it is baked into Apple Music already, and can safely be canceled. I quoted a couple of these instances, right above your post.
This is great!
Now I’ll be able to stream on my work computer.

False.
While Apple Music needs more sharing and social features, it's algorithms are as good if not better than Spotifys. Apple Music has IMO an almost an uncanny ability to understand what I want to listen to and I have an electric taste.
