First off, go back and read my posts. As I said before, I am fine with what I am getting. i am probably even going to keep my phone naked as I have no reception issues and ejoy the look and feel as is. So no I am NOT complaining about anything. What I am doing is standing up for those that feel robbed by only having back or clear to choose from. And please re-read what you wrote while you are at it. You said you are getting a free case to fix an issue. Do you not see anything wrong there? If it is an issue (and sorry your 1% stat is just plainly wrong) then the "free" solution is a solution that should never have had to been offered in the fist place. If you buy a phone then it is not unreasonable to expect to be able to make phone calls with it without having to get any sort of additional accessory for it.

Some people just cannot be convinced that what they do is wrong. Perhaps you are part of the "Entitled" generation. Not only are you happy to take a hand-out, you take it one step further and ask for more, just to see if you can get by with it. Life is not always a par-tay. Enjoy it while it lasts. You have my sympathies for your ignorance.

Not being able to make phone calls is just pure hyperbole. Anyone can make phone calls just fine without a case. How can anyone feel robbed they are getting a FREE case and only have a certain selection of COLORS (a superficial quality) to choose from. Seriously!? WOW, the sense of entitlement in this world sometimes just disgusts me.

Apple did this to SHUT PEOPLE UP to keep from damaging their brand, they didn't do it as an admission of fault or there being an issue. This is a cheap way to essentially nullify the 'issue' in the media. The bottom line is that ANY phone will perform better if it is in a case that insulates is from additional attenuation and interference. The iPhone doesn't NEED a case, but it will improve performance just as any case will improve performance on any phone.

You mentioned yourself you have experience no problems at all...so how then can you defend others that are exaggerating and saying the phone can't even make a call without a case?

Be happy with your FREE black/grey/clear case or return the ********** phone!

i can tell you're one of those people that go the speed limit in the left lane to annoy people who like to speed. terrible. so like i said, go to Puerto Vallarta, you'll be enlightened. :)

Let's not make this personal. You don't know anything about me, so please don't make assumptions. You are taking advantage of the program, plain and simple. People take advantage of things all the time and then wonder why things don't work. Back to la-la land.

open your eyes and realize you are not the only person in this world and other people have different experiences that you do. Just because you and I have not experienced a reception problem does NOT mean no one has or that there is not an issue. I have seen enough other people who showed hard proof of reception problems when holding the phone to know it is a real issue. You are not the center of the universe. The Earth does not revolve around you. I am defending those who do have a real problem even if you think they are making it up.

Hmm never saw that I was whining about anything. Just simply saying that color choice could have been an option if Apple wanted to do that.

Perhaps whining about people whining is your cross to bare.

No insults. Just the facts, did you get a refund on a bumper case-Yes.
Did you turn around and order a free case-Yes.

This is wrong. End of story.

I ordered the black bumper. It will do until Incase finally comes out with the leather case with the belt clip, which is what I had for my 3Gs and what I have for my 120G iPod. That case is perfect for clipping onto my fuel belt when I run.
