If you say so, but why so sensitive about an (explicitly stated) unrelated light-hearted quip to another poster?Buddy, please do yourself a huge favor and keep an eye on market news, that is if you have any interest in it. The market has been tanking nearly a week now and Apple has been apart of that as well as every other company. Just because it hits Macrumors today doesn't mean it's "today's" news.
Do you eat paint chips or something?

You're using the Iphone camera as your vacation camera? That's the one time I'd actually use a real camera... But, hey, whatever I suppose.
My phone is eligible for this repair but I have not yet experienced any blurry photos.
Still - I'd like to have the part replaced because it is obvious that it could fail in the future (or is more prone to failure).
Does anyone know if Apple will replace the part proactively even if the phone is not currently exhibiting the problem?
Still stuck on what to do. I don't really seem to have any problems with the camera. Being jailbroken and having to upgrade my iOS and lose all of my jb's to get a fix for the camera seems worth it on one hand, but on the other not so much since I don't use the camera that often anyway. But with the iPhone 6S rapidly approaching (so the rumors go anyway) I'd rather fix a problem before I get rid of it. Would be nice if they realize it's not a software glitch but a hardware problem, and not really give a damn if I'm jailbroken or not. Appointment today is at 3:30 for my fix. I might just bring it in just to see what they say.
And to think i was going to take my 6+ in this week to an Apple Store because its taking blurry photos... My iPhone 6+ isn't taking photos like the one in the post but more pixelated and blurry when taking long distance shots. But when I take a photo less than 10-20cm away its as clear as 'HD'... Anyway, its eligible and by the sounds of it they would just replace the whole phone...
Did you contact Apple about replacing the phone? I called today and have an appointment Sarurday because I live an hour from the closest Apple Store, but I also had my screen replaced at the Apple Store a couple of months ago and mine has had a white blur on the edge of my screen ever since. You can't see it all the time, but if I'm watching videos, it's very noticeable. Also, my keys stick when I'm texting sometimes or I'll open an app and it will go back to the home screen, so I reboot my phone and it will work fine for a few hours but I usually have to reboot at least every other day. I also have to take several pics to get a clear one. I always thought all these problems I was having was because of the updates but since the camera recall, I've spoke to several of my friends that have an iPhone 6 plus and they've never had these problems. I hope they replace my iPhone and not just the camera because the problems I have are not common like I thought.
And this is how 1 out of 5 or less pics appear...
That changed with the public beta terms from what I understand. If they run diagnostics, which they most likely will, it will tell them which version of iOS the device has installed. Since iOS 9 is a beta, Apple doesn't consider them the latest version and will require you to restore the phone before the service is started.

Yes, that's correct. They told me they would run a diagnosis on my phone when I take it in. But mine is having so many other issues and I really thought everyone's was until this camera recall came out then I asked friends if their keys were sticking or if their screen was freezing and they said no, I always thought, well they'll come out with a new update to fix this but that isn't the problem since no one else is having these issues.
I have to drive an hour to the nearest Apple Store, so I'm not sure about how they handle you being without a phone. I would call and speck to an Apple Rep and explain your situation. They always work with me to make me happy. I've found that they always treat me kindly and with respect when I treat them the same.
I was going to suggest milling a piece of granite.
I made an appointment on Sunday for today to replace the camera, it took 40 minutes to replace it. I did not get a new iPhone.Did you contact Apple about replacing the phone? It's an iSight camera replacement program, not a device replacement program.
I was in the same situation as you, I did not notice this problem with the camera until Sunday, most of my pictures were taken during day time and they were fine, until I start taking pictures on Sunday at night time, using the zoom... Then I noticed that 4 of 20 pictures were blurry. My iPhone 6 Plus is eligible. However, the camera works perfect so I don't understand why Apple say my phone is eligible if I have got no issues with the camera.
