Seems to be working again.

Nope.... Strange, I log in and it redirects me to the bloody apple.com/mobileme page again

Finder gets updated when you kill it via the Terminal.

Type in killall Finder and the Finder relaunches itself. Or if you have quicksilver you can do it with that.

Mine never updated either, and I tried everything but rebooting (too noisy, don't want to wake the wifey)

kind of ironic

kind of funny:

Re-launch the Finder by typing "killall Finder" into a Terminal window. It's faster than rebooting and the only time you should have to reboot is for kernel updates (10.x.x updates which update the kernel as well).

Hence why I said "re-launch Finder".

I'd say it'll be easier for people to hold down option and right click on the Finder icon in the dock, then click Relaunch.

well - I'm logged in but I've had the 'gay wheel' for about 5 minutes. Can't log in from windows control panel either...
,edit,
And now I'm out again.

anyone know of a workaround for getting non-safari/firefox browsers to work with me.com?

I made the suggestion because you offered restarting as an alternative, and "re-launching" isn't nearly as much fun as just killing the Finder. I do it every time it annoys me.

silly question, but when was the final release of the iphone 2.0 software finalized? Cuz I'm thinking it must have been after Apple started shipping the new phones out.

This would mean that the software release would have to be pretty darn soon after the phones went on sale, so that people aren't buying new hardware with old software.

Maybe I'm totally wrong....
