i signed up for the free, trial, but then it wouldnt let me use any of the syncing or the idisk. then i noticed it was my old trial .mac account, so i logged out and signed in with my new one and it keeps saying the password is wrong, even though i used the same password i have for gmail. then the me.com went down. so i'm so confused right now. and i freaking want 2.0 and some monkeyball action.

If you got that from mac.com ... thats been up since they took it down yesterday.
Which means firmware 2.0 has to be round the corner as they won't have half the market using it + me.com has to be live by then + appstore is live aswell on dev's iPhones.
New Zealand people getting ipHones first. Oh well.

Not supporting ie6 is a pain.
We have several thousand student PCs that only use ie6 (locked down so they cannot install ie7,safari or firefox etc.) and I believe thats the same for a lot of the Universities in the UK.
So no checking their mobileme accounts for our students (at least those without access to a non-Uni PC/laptop) other than those who can get at the few hundred Macs that we have.
Hope Apple thinks again on this one.

Yeh - wounder if just the mail app could easily be made to work on ie6 - or maybe the old app could be brought back for it.
