Not sure its all Apple's fault. Microsoft are notorious for not supporting standards in IE, other than their own standards of course, I'd imagine this is a large part of the reason its not fully supported.

The main reason that some websites appear to not display properly in Firefox and Safari is that they were coded for IE. In reality they are being displayed incorrectly by IE (albeit they appear ok) and correctly in Firefox and Safari.

While it's really a case of how you call it (Apple not supporting IE, IE not supporting standards), Apple could offer a basic version of the site with full support for "unsupported" browsers so that people could get to the basic functionality if they weren't able to use the latest version of Safari.

Me.com up and down like a yo-yo

Hmm.. I can login to the mobileme system prefs, but it says I'm an individual, whereas i actually have family account. And the storage says 5GB ..

me.com may not be working but i'm going ahead and browsing through the available apps on itunes and downloading them! :D

still says mac.com account

iChat can use both .mac & .me, and in iChat they are separate address unlike in mail where they are linked together.

When you add an account, MobileMe is there.

In iPhoto all of my galleries are gone...possibly due to the server not working yet.

Rawr, I have not seen the MobileMe updater, System Preferences is still giving me an error trying to connect, and me.com and mac.com redirect me to apple.com/mobileme

T_T

People like you make me laugh, Your narrow mindedness disgusts me, i like it how you can take a slapstick comedy ( Austin Powers ) and apply it to a Full country with 70 million people living in it.

i love the fact that it is only the one film that really portrays the british people in a bad light.

how many films portray the americans in such a light

the hills have eyes!
Texas Chainsaw massacre
Deliverance?

if this was the case all americans would be incestuous, black or no teeth hill billie's wondering around with the mental age of a ten year old looking for some poor sole to mutilate.

OH! You didn't know?

Please, it's just a joke. We all need to be able to laugh at each other about stupid stereotypes.

Cam up for a short while again! Managed to open contacts, although it didn't fully load, I clicked on mail again and it redirected me to ad page... 2 false starts! Something must be wrong!

ALL THAT AJAX! Servers are probably being destroyed.

Does mobileme push e-mail and e-mail management apply to all accounts we have set up in mail (for instance my primary e-mail is optonline, not mac.com)? Or only me.com/mac.com e-mails?

Those of you who have downloaded the MobileMe update from Software Update:

Does it change ALL references of .Mac to MobileMe? (i.e. the one's in iPhoto and iChat--not just Mail and System Preferences)

When I hit the Web Gallery button in the updated iPhoto, I got this error message....

still no iphone 2.0 update

i don't think we'll get it until tomorrow.... right? i'm thinking just because people getting iphone 3g with 2.0 software doesn't mean they will release 2.0 version for everyone else... i don't know.

Only .mac and MobileMe. You can however, setup optonline to forward all emails to your MobileMe if you want them pseudo-pushed.
