Sooo, the iHump is only 1877 mAh and does not look nearly as good as third party alternatives and costs more. Jony Ive gets extra points for ironically calling this a Smart Battery Case.
"This is the beginning of the end."
That was my very first thought when seeing this case. I realize that's quite a jump to make, but that was my initial, honest reaction. What has happened to Apple's design team?
Bulkier and not the same functionalities.... I would buy the Apple's without doubts.
I don't own any battery add-on packs. The Mophie maybe bulkier, but at least it's symmetrical and still fairly sleek looking as opposed to Apple's Hunchback of iNotre-Dame version... It's also cheaper. Still can't believe this!Bulkier and not the same functionalities.... I would buy the Apple's without doubts.
Still difficult to believe a 9000 mAh is so small ....Oups! Too many zeros. 9,000.

Where have you been for the last 5 years? Beats Music purchase, Apple Watch, Apple Music, musical guests at the end of every keynote presentation, etc. it's been obvious for years that Tim Cook doesn't have vision and is running the company into the ground one bit at a time.
Very similar to mophie wonder what they have to say?Early april's fools? I can't believe this...
If you're gonna spend $100 on this, which is going to make your phone bigger and way thicker, why not just get the plus model? For the extra $100 you get better battery and bigger screen and ois.
And apple subtly admits the iPhone 6 and 6s battery life is not what users want.
The cube was beautiful, ping was under eddie cue
If that's the situation your in you'll need more power than this case will give you. You'd be better off with a portable power bank. You can get far higher capacity for less money. Why are people complaining about the design? I doubt this is for every day use. But rather, if you find yourself in a situation where you'd be somewhere (perhaps without electrical sockets or charge ports) for a while.
Surethe cube was not beautiful. It was a cube.
I guess you also forgot about the need to have your iPhone wear a bumper in order to not loss its signal
There are NO good lightning port battery cases on the market for the 6/6s. There should be. This is the ONLY one. I think that's why Apple put out this humpback case, to fill a market gap. I think they expected someone else to make a better one, but because nobody else did in time for the holidays, Apple did. My feelings are mixed because I don't like the shape, and don't love the material.
I want extended battery life, but I also have huge hands. Not everybody is me, and I totally accept that just because I want a battery case does not mean the phone is wrong. I think the phone should be designed with/for a removable case. Let apple make a single thing very well, and let customization occur in the third party space.
If you ignore the Apple Watch, or count it as an accessory, then yes. But you'd also have to count the original iPhone as an accessory, too, since you couldn't use it unless you had a computer. And the iPad was just a larger version. How often in the past has Apple released a completely new product that no one could claim was derivative or an accessory?
LOL OMG WHY?! HAHAHA iHump©Sooo, the iHump is only 1877 mAh and does not look nearly as good as third party alternatives and costs more. Jony Ive gets extra points for ironically calling this a Smart Battery Case.
